They had the most amazing chowder but they are now closed down. I am so sad. We visit here often and I always look forward to the fish and chips and chowder

I love and look forward to eating their Clam Chowder whenever I am in Long Beach. We have also had friendly service when we go.

My wife & I stayed at the Chautauqua Lodge and The Lightship Restaurant was 100 feet from our room. I had the Denver 3-egg omelet with spuds & toast and it was the best $10.50 I've spent on a breakfast. I never had an empty coffee cup for the waitress was there before I could get that last sip.

They had a room for us where the buffet style breakfast was set up. Food was good and kept replaced as needed. The staff were very pleasant.

I took my husband here for his birthday....he wanted steak and prawns..prawns were OK but the steak was way over done. My steak was OK but the coconut shrimp was hard and crunchy. Atmosphere was not good and service was not the best or friendliest. We will not be back.

My husband and I ate breakfast here on September 5, 2016. This restaurant is attached to a bar. We were the only ones in the restaurant at 830 am but the service was a little slow. The server was working the bar and the dining room. The ambiance in the restaurant surely needs a little work. The only reason I... More

Our group of 3 couples and various family members have been co ing to this restaurant for years and it is consistently good. Even though they lost a very good chef, our dinners were still great,. Nice people nd good food.

After having less than a wonderful experience at the increasingly shabby Chautauqua motel, it was a pleasant surprise to walk the 50 to 60 yards or so from our room and find a surprisingly nice restaurant with a varied menu and deliciously good breakfasts. The prices were fair and the service was good. We would not hesitate to eat there... More

Went here because it was close to the hotel. Food was ok, more like a diner that a restaurant. It was ok for the price and for what was needed, not to sure if I would return as a chosen place to eat but it served its purpose.

Different location. Food is good. It is very much a family style restaurant, many options to pick from.
