We had lunch here on our way from Forks along the coast to Oregon. We had clam chowder and coconut shrimp as a starter. After that, my husband had Fish & Chips and I had the Dungeness Deep Sea Burger. Everything was just delicious and...More

Spent 3 days in this town and ate twice at this restuarant. The BEST clam chowder in town...not too thick nor too thin, creamy with lots of flavorful seasonings and clams. The calamari was also quite good...all rings, nice and crispy, no body slices. Good...More

My husband and I enjoy eating at Castaways. It’s conveniently located on the main drag in Long Beach and we’ve gotten consistently good food there. The service is friendly and efficient. We like simple good quality food and they definitely deliver it.

We stopped for dinner with great friends after digging clams. Their menu was impressive making it hard to choose but since it’s at the beach, clam chowder and fish and chips were the obvious choice. Chowder had lots of clams, not too thick. I had...More

The most unusual clam chowder, loaded with clams in a tasty broth. Normally, I prefer a thicker base, but this one was so flavourful, I consider it in my top favourites. Absolutely top of my list is their fish and chips. Fresh white fish, cod,...More

This was a fun place to eat but was pricey for a family! The service was good, would have liked a bit more selection on the menu.

My friend liked her CS. I thought the sauce was way too spicy. The chowder was tasty, but the clams were quite chewy. I think I saw some salmon in the chowder. Service was fine. They were very accommodating and tried to help with an...More

We went on a rainy Friday night...drawn to this place by a good chowder review from a local. We shared a bowl and it was wonderful, lots of clams, firm but not undercooked potatoes and little chunks of bacon. The broth was light but creamy....More

This place was suggested by friends that live local. It was clean, new paint inside and service was adequate. Not a very appealing interior but nice and light. Had a nice looking small bar but we did not have drinks; too early. Portions were nothing...More

We went here for lunches and dinner several times the chowder is the best. The fish and chips are super good. It can be pretty busy sometimes but worth the wait.

It wasn't on the menu when I was there either. This place isn't really a 'Lobster' place. It's more of a nice 'Dive'! You can go to Doogers, or The Lighthouse, and there is even a more fancy place to go in Ocean Park...I... More
