Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Some of the worst Italian food ever. Menu is very limited. Bread was cold like it is kept refrigerated. Wood oven clams were good. Caesar salad lacked flavor. It was creamy but not much else. Their spaghettini with prawns is flavored with garlic and oil,...very bland. I kept adding salt to try to bring out some sort of flavor. I also tried the chicken mushroom fettuccine. It had flavor but it was very thick and pasty. It has a cheese sauce, not alfredo. Expensive and very disappointing.More

I have e-mailed on twice now to obtain a contact address for the CEO/COO but have never received the courtesy of a response. I also emailed my complaint which has also been ignored. Ignoring complaints is a poor business practice as we all learn from...mistakes and it makes us better. My husband and I reside in Scotland and visit Leavenworth each summer, and Visconti's, once a year and have done done 2016.  We decided to visit again in January to experience a Leavenworth Winter and were not disappointed with the town nor the hotel we stayed in.  It was well worth the 5,500 mile journey. We were, however, extremely disappointed with the Management Team in Visconti's Restaurant this time around.  We were visiting for my Birthday and decided the nicest place to visit for food to celebrate was Visconti's. We were both really excited to be going back. We were seated in the restaurant overlooking the Main Street in the snow. It was a perfect setting for what was so far a perfect birthday. Sadly it was jusy about to be ruined by your Restaurant. My complaint is not regarding the food or server. Food was wonderful as usual and our server was lovely. Whilst we were eating our main courses, your team thought it would be a really good idea to seat a rowdy party of 12 (mainly seniors) in the same part of the restaurant and feed them more and more alcohol.  It was so bad that we could no longer hear one another speak.  Where we are from, and I would imagine, everywhere else in the world, anything that causes a disturbance to other guests, especially within a restaurant setting, isn't tolerated and we were the ones forced into leaving which is disgusting. We quickly drank our drink, finished our main course and got up to leave. No desserts or coffees as we had absolutely no intention of sitting listening to them any longer.  I was disgusted that these people were allowed to disturb 8 other paying guests while been constantly fed more and more alcohol.  I appreciate that their bill would have been significantly higher than ours and, in the current financial climate, I totally understand but this should never be at the expense of other paying guests. I stayed behind to speak to your Manager and his Assistant.  They are clearly not used to dealing with complaints.  They were like cats caught in headlights. I was made to feel extremely uncomfortable by them both staring blankly at me in an attempt to intimidate.  "Sorry" was all he said. I would like to thank your Management Team for allowing my birthday dinner that was part of 5,500 mile journey to be ruined. Clearly US visitors are far more important than International ones and allowed to behave however they wish. or at least that the impression that we left with anyway. We are coming back in August and this was always out favourite place to eat but sadly we cannot return. My mother in law will be really disappointed as we have spent the last 8 years telling her how good it is. I didn't want to post this on here and gave the head office time to respond but clearly they have the same attitude to international visitors as the restaurant management team to. If you see them seating a large party whole you're enjoying a nice meal my advice would be to leave. I really grudge the $140 we spent that night but not a mistake we'll make againMore

We had a very enjoyable dinner. Our server Aidan was very personable and did an excellent job. We started with bread and a herb infused oil for dipping. Next was a delicious Tuscan bean soup 🍜. The entree was scallops over risotto and we paired...it with a lovely Syrah wine. We indulged by finishing with a delicious lemoncello sorbeto. It was a wonderful experience. We highly recommend Visconti.More

Great food. Fantastic service and right ambience. If you are looking for fine dining, this place is a must. Food is a little pricey but it's worth it.

Highly recommend! Scallops were the special and they were spot on. Potato Gnocchi was fabulous. Brittany was a superb server. Wine list was extensive and rotating wine by the glass was a good treat.

Great service and venue. Food was ok at best, and warm instead of hot. I wouldn’t go back mostly because I expect better food for those prices.

We ate here last night, and it was probably the best meal we have had during our three week driving trip of the Pacific Northwest. We both had slightly different versions of pasta and prawns that we both throughly enjoyed. Service was great and we...were fortunate to get a window table overlooking the town “plaza”. With a glass of wine and tip, the total came to $100.More

We booked a later table than we would have preferred, in this spacious, two floored establishment on the main road through Leavenworth, we received a playful welcome, the food was average but Randy looked after us very well.

I have eaten at a Visconti’s‘s previously, in Wenatchee, Washington. I hoped it would be the same great taste and quality of food. Sadly, I was disappointed I had the eggplant Parmesan that lacked flavor and the eggplant barely baked and lukewarm. My husband had...the lasagna and it also lacked flavor and warm at best. One person in our party ordered the special and I overheard a waiter at the next table say they were out. Our waiter came back 15 minutes later and told us they were out of the special. We had a Barata cheese plate appetizer, and that was good.More

I don't think you can see the park from this location because it is up the street and on a little curve.
