I have e-mailed on twice now to obtain a contact address for the CEO/COO but have never received the courtesy of a response. I also emailed my complaint which has also been ignored. Ignoring complaints is a poor business practice as we all learn from...mistakes and it makes us better. My husband and I reside in Scotland and visit Leavenworth each summer, and Visconti's, once a year and have done done 2016. We decided to visit again in January to experience a Leavenworth Winter and were not disappointed with the town nor the hotel we stayed in. It was well worth the 5,500 mile journey. We were, however, extremely disappointed with the Management Team in Visconti's Restaurant this time around. We were visiting for my Birthday and decided the nicest place to visit for food to celebrate was Visconti's. We were both really excited to be going back. We were seated in the restaurant overlooking the Main Street in the snow. It was a perfect setting for what was so far a perfect birthday. Sadly it was jusy about to be ruined by your Restaurant. My complaint is not regarding the food or server. Food was wonderful as usual and our server was lovely. Whilst we were eating our main courses, your team thought it would be a really good idea to seat a rowdy party of 12 (mainly seniors) in the same part of the restaurant and feed them more and more alcohol. It was so bad that we could no longer hear one another speak. Where we are from, and I would imagine, everywhere else in the world, anything that causes a disturbance to other guests, especially within a restaurant setting, isn't tolerated and we were the ones forced into leaving which is disgusting. We quickly drank our drink, finished our main course and got up to leave. No desserts or coffees as we had absolutely no intention of sitting listening to them any longer. I was disgusted that these people were allowed to disturb 8 other paying guests while been constantly fed more and more alcohol. I appreciate that their bill would have been significantly higher than ours and, in the current financial climate, I totally understand but this should never be at the expense of other paying guests. I stayed behind to speak to your Manager and his Assistant. They are clearly not used to dealing with complaints. They were like cats caught in headlights. I was made to feel extremely uncomfortable by them both staring blankly at me in an attempt to intimidate. "Sorry" was all he said. I would like to thank your Management Team for allowing my birthday dinner that was part of 5,500 mile journey to be ruined. Clearly US visitors are far more important than International ones and allowed to behave however they wish. or at least that the impression that we left with anyway. We are coming back in August and this was always out favourite place to eat but sadly we cannot return. My mother in law will be really disappointed as we have spent the last 8 years telling her how good it is. I didn't want to post this on here and gave the head office time to respond but clearly they have the same attitude to international visitors as the restaurant management team to. If you see them seating a large party whole you're enjoying a nice meal my advice would be to leave. I really grudge the $140 we spent that night but not a mistake we'll make againMore
