Wow the Schnitzel and the Rouladen were very good, and the Spätzle was great. both the Cucumber salad and the rotkohl. Service is a little slow because they are busy but that just tells you people are willing to wait for something really good.

I go to this restaurant about every 6 weeks and it is always a pleasure. The schnitzel is fantastic as is the cucumber salad. The German beer selection is abundant. Friendly staff make this a great authentic place to go for lunch or dinner. This restaurant can get busy at times but it's well worth the wait.

We recently moved to Tacoma and like to eat out a couple of times a week so we've been enjoying trying out a lot of restaurants here. This is one of the best we've eaten at so far. Food was delicious and the staff were friendly and attentive. We were full after eating just half of our dinners so we... More

Enjoyed lunch today; the Hangover Soup and Goulash were very good. The Cabbage Roll with kartoffelknödel was excellent as was the meatloaf with puréed potatoes. The bienenstich was some of the best I have ever eaten. Can't wait to eat here again. Service was quick, server was pleasant, restaurant was clean.

My wife and I went here for a date. We waited about 20 minutes for any service at all after we sat down. We were about to leave when an elderly waitress came looking exhausted and complaining about how she doesn't normally work weekends. She took our order, then came back 10 minutes later not to bring us out drinks... More

We went to Bruno's for a birthday and will return soon. My son just spent a month in Germany so we were excited to see if this little place stacked up with his experience in the old country. We all order something different. As always I asked the waiter what was the best. Mine was first rate, my wife's was... More

Bruno's is truly authentic and we really loved eating here. My husband is German and he practically moaned through his whole meal. I don't particularly love beets but the borscht was incredible.

We got there early, around 5:30, and got a table right away. By 6:30 people were waiting for seats. The menu has a great variety of choices and the food was all delicious. There beer selection was limited and expensive in my opinion. I'll have water the next time I go. The service was great. Overall a good experience

Bruno's used to be very close to us, and was one of our most regular stops. (Citron is at their old site now, and is also worth a visit.) Bruno's consistently has some of the best food in town. Still good, but we (I am not sure why) feel it was better in the old location. Still one of the... More

It's a shame it costs over $40 for dinner for two which is just a basic plate of food with no rolls, no salad, nothing extra included. However, our pork cutlet was tasty, tender, perfectly cooked. My cucumber salad was fair. Thin slices of cucumber and onion in vinegar. The potato dumplings were mushy. The gravy was great and the... More
