While stopping for gas I opted for a quick cup of delectable coffee to take with me as I traveled south. The coffee was excellent and the service was great. Had I not just eaten breakfast I would have chosen one of their delicious looking treats such as the peach and berry stuffed French toast. They also have quite a... More

Wonderful stop for coffee, frittata & treat. Great conversation with Chris the proprietor. Along with his fabulous cooking enjoyed learning more about Freeland & Whidbey island. Thank you Chris.

No sacrifices are necessary if you are gluten-free. The pastry goods are tasty and there are many to choose from. The coffee cake was flavorful and moist. While we didn't try the frittata, we heard one customer singing its praises. The interior of the shop is fanciful and welcoming. We almost missed it, though, because it is in one of... More

I agree with others comments about this being a delightful surprise. I like the juices and gluten free cookies are scrumptious. Highly recommend. Nice proprietor to boot too.

This cozy little place is a nice place to hang out. They have a small menu, but it is surprisingly delicious. Coffee, smoothies, baked goods, delicious frittata and quinoa salad.

I wasn't expecting anything special when I stopped for coffee. My nose picked up on the fact that I was someplace extra special before I could even focus on the counter. The baked goods smelled fantastic, and there were many options. I couldn't resist the frittata. I tried the meat option (exceptional), but there was a vegetarian option as well.... More

One of our island favorite spots... usually can't decide. . So we get one of each nummy items. Love the chili, or soup, or frittata, or baked french toast. Eat there or take to go. We also like that he has gluten free items.

We stopped in for coffee but couldn't resist lunch. There is not a lunch menu, but the owner creates a few fresh dishes each day. On the day that we stopped there were two beautiful frittatas (one vegetarian) and quinoa salad. Loved both. We asked for water with our meal and instead of a plastic or boring glass, our water... I recently moved to the Island and a new friend pointed out that just minutes from my rental was a lovely coffee shop. Mind you, on Whidbey, you're not lacking in choices for coffee shops. Today I decided to treat myself and check this place out after reading the reviews. Wow! I'm glad I did! Not to be missed! I... More

Now, on a second visit in a new month I had another memorable frittata. The very friendly owner really knows how to create these to look as beautiful as they taste. My husband had a panini that was also very good. The coffee is very good, and the wait short. I had the italian sausage frittata, very generously assembled and... More
