Needed a break from freeway driving on I-90 and a restroom. Pleasantly surprised with a nice atmosphere, friendly staff and excellent food. I had a bowl of clam chowder and a Philly Ciabatta sandwich. Super tasty and my wife enjoyed the Navy bean soup a cheese sandwich. Complimentary WiFi was a bonus. Will definitely be back since it was good... More

The Soup Bowl is an awesome place for an affordable, well-rounded meal. You can grab a soup, sandwich, soda, and cookie for about $10. The soup is always hot and there are several options, the sandwiches are great, and they offer wine and beer now too! The spot has a funky homey vibe -- high ceilings, central location, kind of... Love their fresh soup. Always have great customer service. Good location and nice place to just sit down and read the paper. Cozy in the winter!

I love the Soup Bowl. I used to go there a lot in the morning for their breakfast sandwiches. I love their soup and sandwiches. Mondays and Tuesdays are my favorite day to order the soup (Cream of Broccoli and Chicken Noodle). My favorite sandwich is the Chicken Cordon Bleu Ciabatta, it is so yummy. I like their combos, both... More

Daughter wanted to take me out to eat and suggested this place. Cute little set up, good menu choices. Lady was personable and friendly. When food arrives the sandwiches were really good, the soup was good, my side salad was a little disappointing. They have delivery, free wifi, good seating, a little pricey overall but was good food.

If you have the taste for delicious home made soup - try the Soup Bowl in downtown Ellensburg. I go there when I want a quick and satisfying meal. Friendly people and they usually have a choice of four or five soups.

For a place specializing in Soup, the soup was very sub-standard. We ordered the tomato bisque, and it was pretty poor. We didn't even finish ours. The egg salad was excellent-however the bread was sub-par; something from the grocery store. Overall, very disappointing.

The best tomato soup I have had in five years. The last time I had this good of tomato soup I was working at the restaurant that served it. Oh how I love that soup. Now I live in a place where I can have that soup weekly. YAY

If you are ever in Ellensburg, WA, a quiet small town, and are hungry for soup, this is the place to go. We had a taco soup and a southwest chicken cheddar - both superb choices. The surroundings are modest but don't let that deter you. The owner is in at 5 AM each morning to make the soups and... More

Walked in on a Sunday, the place was empty and the staff member was on her personal phone, ignored us then barked that the menus were in the basket. We walked out due to poor customer service. We are from out of town and will not be recommending this place to any friends visiting Ellensburg.
