This restaurant is located in downtown Ellensburg, surrounded by cute shops and beautiful historic buildings. It is conveniently located across the street from the awesome Clymer Gallery. Parking is available on the streets in downtown Ellensburg, and is plentiful and free. You order at the counter and then take a seat. Servers will bring your food to you. The interior... More

We stopped by the Dakota for lunch. The Reuben sandwich was quite good. The pulled pork on the dry side. There was a very large group there but the room is large enough to handle both large parties and small ones. We appreciated the gal who took our order (sorry I didn't write her name down) but she was quite... More

The food is freshly made, soup, cuts of meat, deserts whatever you're having it's always good. Ambiance is very relaxed. Kids do fine but more suited for adults or mature kids than little ones. Very good food though. Bit pricey, but you get what you pay for.

One thing was great, the coffee! The food however left a lot to be desired. We had to pay beforehand, which was the only reason why we did not leave after waiting for 20 to 25 minutes. Then the order was not quite right, one order sat too long on the counter, the others were not ready and when they... More

While on an 'out and about' in Ellensburg, Washington, we window shopped, wandered through galleries and antique stores. While marveling in the Clymer Gallery, it became apparent that i was famished, and felt my life slowly ebbing away.....okay, not that bad, but darn close. Charming Bride and i chatted with the lovely receptionist at the Clymer, and she ran down... More

Located in historic downtown Ellensburg this gem offers great soup, salads and sandwiches along with local brews. Friendly service and tasty food at a reasonable price. Wonderful homemade clam chowder and the hot pastrami is very filling. Worth checking out for a quick lunch stop. Really cute decor.

Traveling home on I-90 and needed lunch. So tired of fast-food. Looked up lunch stops in Ellensburg and found a gem. Great soup and sandwiches. Warmed me up on a cold January day. Not far off the Highway check it out!

My husband and I stopped here for dinner on our way back from Seattle. We had eaten lunch here one time before and remembered it being a hopping place. The menu had a wide variety of items, as witnessed by my Asian vegetarian stir fry and my husband's chicken parmesan. Both were competently prepared and the chef seemed to use... More

I like the way this restaurant looks and feels. Love the booths. I wish they didn't try to get fancy- it doesn't work for them- but basic American burgers, steaks and fries and things like that are just fine here.
