My wife wanted to see the snow, so we drove up to Suncadia just to see the snow and have lunch up there. We hadn't tried the Hoist House Restaurant yet, so we decided to give it a try. You'll be walking on snow from the parking area to the just outside the front entrance, so wear appropriate shoes or... More

We loved the atmosphere and the vibrance here. Happy people, great food and wine, good service. Everyone quite helpful, and plenty of options for eating here - a diverse menu plus you can eat at a table, the "kitchen bar", the bar, or the lounge area.

Our server Trevor was amazing! He kept everything running very smoothly for our party of 12 for a Christmas celebration. The food was delicious and wine recommendations were right on! We thought being put in the banquet room for large tables might feel out of the way but it wasn't at all - beautifully decorated and nice to have some... More

The Hoist House is the perfect place to eat after some sledding fun on the HUGE hill behind them. The place was packed but the food and service were both wonderful. It took at least 30 minutes to get our food once seated, but the hostess brought our kids some fries to help ease the wait.

Everytime we are at Suncadia, we also go to the Winery once or twice. This is a great restaurant with the best food around. The steelhead is amazing and large enough to split for two.

This was our third Thanksgiving at Suncadia but we made our dinner reservations at the Hoist House to try something different. Dinner couldn't have been better. While it was a buffet the service was terrific! Our adult family of five felt welcomed; our server got a wonderful picture of us at the table. She was very prompt and helpful but... More

This is our second time eating at the Swiftwater. We did this a couple years ago, and it was fun to be back. We started our evening with wine tasting at the Swiftwater bar. Their wines are hit and miss to me. We shared 2 tastings of different flights. My wife's flight had 3 wines, and mine had for. The... More

We arrived early so we had a nice glass of zephyr on the patio. Beautiful but a little windy so next we had our wine flight and pulled pork skins inside. Heavenly. Dinner started with the clams! Awesome. Worth the 100 mile drive just for those. Then crab orzo and sirloin with mushrooms. Awesome! Brought a few bottles and dessert... More

Decided to visit Swiftwater with friends cause we ran out of options in the area. Just wanted to eat, we were starving. It was a Tuesday night in July and it was around 7:30 pm. Place had a few tables and we were pleasantly greeted by the host but decided to sit outside. There were a few tables outdoors but... More

Very pleasantly surprised. Amazing space! Great food/drink menu. Lot's of fun doing flight tastings. Lots of comfortable space to hang out with friends. Deck is perfect for outdoor dining (although bees are a problem in this area of WA). A must while in the area!
