This is our favorite place for lunch. Food is fresh and always tastes good. Love the soup. The turkey and cranberry is a favorite. They're only open on weekdays.

We love stopping here on our trips between Oregon and Seattle. Everything is great: soups, salads, sandwiches... The atmosphere is unique and comfortable. I am so glad it's here---I hate the chain restaurants! A great place to relax and to enjoy a tasty meal.

This is one of our favorite places to have lunch. The turkey cranberry sandwich is especially good. The staff is nice, and there is a good atmosphere.

I'm glad we arrived early because by noon the place had really filled up! With a quaint, homey atmosphere the one large dining room has tables of varying sizes. There is also outside seating on the front porch. We were impressed with the fresh, home made offerings of mostly soups, salads, sandwiches and desserts. Friendly service too. You order at... More

I classify Thyme as my preferred luncheon in this town. Hidden in the bowels of Chehalis (but not too far off freeway), Thyme is resplendent on its product. Quality ingredients, made fresh to order and a country feel, Joy puts out some impressive product. Slightly different of a process, you choose your lunch off the giant chalkboard (mostly hot or... I've eaten lunch at this restaurant 4 times now and have been pleased each time. Lots of choices and food is very fresh. Parking can be a little challenging but have a little patience and you will find a spot. Service is great!

Atmosphere was similar to a tea room. Food and variety was much better than most Tea Rooms. Prices are a little high for the size of portion- mostly the meat in sandwich was a little skimpy. All the food was good. The chocolate tart was excellent. The ginger peach tea was excellent and they refill the glass free. They are... More

This place has a bit of an unusual menu, but everything I've tried is excellent! They're only open certain days and times, but well worth scheduling into your day.

This is a small town gem for sure. I have never had a bad meal. The down fall it is only open for lunch. People are friendly and accommodating from start to finish. The food is lunch variety of paini to pizza. If your in Chehalis you will thank me.
