My husband and I shared the special fajitas for two. They included: steak, chicken, shrimp, mushrooms, peppers, onions and carrots. They were very tasty and there was plenty to share. They were served with the usual rice and beans.

Came to eat with our son, waited to be seated for several minutes. The waitress was really nice but the food wasn't great & they made our nachos wrong.

I go there for lunch every time I'm up that way. I order the chilli relleno, my favorite. They make the best one there

Our family has frequented this restaurant for over 30 years. We drive down from Canada. This is by far the BEST Mexican food this side of Mexico. Just don't take my word for it, try it! The mango margaritas are magnificent. Bring your appetite, I dare you to finish the over-sized pork, beef, or chicken burritos. Real meat. Nothing processed.... More

We went for our daughters birthday and had an enjoyable dinner with exceptional service. We have come to this place for a while now and gotten to know the owner and her family who also works at the restaurant. We have had consistent good food and service and will continue to come and enjoy it!

My husband and I had a great meal there, authentic Mexican food, portions were enormous, and service excellent as well. I would certainly recommend eating here and you can be sure my husband and I will return. : )

Took our family of 4 (two kids ages 10 and 4) for dinner. The margaritas were tasty (on ice with salt) and the chips and salsa were fresh. The meals were great and the ambiance was casual enough were my kids volumes were drowned out.

We have tried numerous mexican food places in the past but have found El Gitano's to be the best. The service can be slow sometimes but it is worth it for the food. Very authentic. The prices are great. The atmosphere is really cool as well.

The lunch I ordered at El Gitano was their #19 combo - Chile relleno and taco. I expect a chile relleno to be a fresh green chile stuffed with a jack or mild cheddar cheese, battered, and deep fried. I guess what was in there was a chile, but it surely was not green. It was brown, perhaps roasted and... More

I went there with three other ladies on an hour and a 1/2 limit. That seemed plenty of time for drinks and dinner, but sadly was not. We ordered 3 tequila spicy margaritas and 1 vodka spicy margarita because of a tequila allergy, vodka replacement was the suggestion from our waiter. It took 20 min for our drinks to come... More
