While the food quality surely beats Kuru Kuru and Zen, the experience is absolutely terrible. My dad and I came on a Friday night, which would surely guarantee it to be busy. The restaurant was only half full and it took 10 minutes for us to be seated. We arrived at 6:45 pm On February 10th, 2017. We ended up... More

Good sushi rolls in a nautical theme place in the downtown area. Variety of the normal rolls with a few specialty rolls. Each roll was six pieces.

Wasabee is reliable and the sushi is always fresh, first-rate quality. Service is friendly. The rolls are popular, but the nigiri is particularly good. Tea and miso also excellent.

Our B&B recommended this place for the BEST sushi in town, so we just HAD to check it out. It was a little hard to find but was worth finding and we went there 2 nights in a row! This popular place is always busy so the service, while friendly and efficient, is a bit slow. We were greeted with... More

You better like sushi and sashimi if you come here. With only a few exceptions those are your choices. They have the best overall quality of sushi in Bellingham. The lunch specials are good values. Wait staff often get over-whelmed so we always bring cash so we can leave money on the table and not have to wait for a... More

Unpretentious, quality Japanese food made by Japanese owners. They are not trying to be high end sushi bar but serve very good value Japanese family staples that have the flavours and quality I'm used to when visiting friends in Japan. Good rice.

The sushi restaurant was one of these quant establishments were you know it will be good as soon as you sit down. We were offered green tea on arrival and the menu was very appealing. The daily specials were well priced and had a great variety I had the 3 roll special and I was full! If you want fresh... More

Yes the sushi is cheap but it is not good. The sushi is brought from the back of the restaurant and did not seem very fresh. The service is slow and the wait staff were ok but not very personable. We would normally take our time and enjoy a long dinner with beer, wine and conversation but we decided to... More

The sushi was delicious and very affordable. They are only open for dinner, starting at 5:00 p.m. We made reservations and, if you have a party of 4 or more, I would strongly recommend making reservations. This place was packed! The employees are very courteous and helpful. The only negative is a rather limited supply on Nihon shu (sake) and... More

We just moved to Bellingham two months ago. Went to Wasabee for my husband's 67th birthday on the 26th. The place was packed with only one open table. We sat there. Tea and menus arrived promptly. Took ten or fifteen minutes to place an order for a miso soup, a salad, two rolls and a nigiri, and a sake. The... More
