Great place to stop for brunch when on the I5; beats all the 'usual' options hands-down! Small, funky place accordingly they only take parties of up to four.

We had a chicken fried steak and Mexi-skillet. We admired our neighbor's food which was tater tots and mac and cheese along with a hash skillet (photos attached). The chicken fried steak was exactly the way we like it -- tasty gravy, tender meat with a crispy crust. Very flavorful and satisfying! The Mexi-skillet was full of veggies and potatoes.... More

Always funky, always fun, always good food. Tina and Kirby cook up the character and the grub at this hole in the wall joint, but that is what makes them the best gig going in town year after year. Always fresh and hot food, great prices, and quirky design and staff. Keep it up guys!

If the great food and awesome customer service wasn't enough, my favorite Bellingham breakfast place says this. Dear Planned Parenthood: Bellingham Health Center we here at Homeskillet are delighted to be writing you a big fat $2500.00 check! We had so much fun and can't wait to see what the year of giving brings! To all the other businesses, if... More

This a must visit if you are in Bellingham. The place is very small and I never see more than 4 people at a table. The food... well it's ALWAYS packed and we have to usually wait for a table but it is so worth it! The portions are huge, delish and the help is nice and friendly. It does... More

This tiny, little, funky, retro, cool diner I'd a must go for breakfast. You may have to wait to get a seat (it only seats 30) but it is worth it. My first time here was yesterday and it was so good I'm back the next day. Yesterday I had the biscuits and sausage gravy and eggs. Huge plate of... More

Get to Homeskillet for breakfast. It is my favorite breakfast joint in Bellingham. The Pulled Pork and Tater Tot Hash is really good, as is the chicken fried steak with chorizo gravy. Lots of funky kitsch in the decor make this a fun and quirky place to eat. Highly recommended! (Be aware that they are not able to accommodate parties... More

This is the best breakfast place in Bellingham, which should say a lot since there are many great places for breakfast in this city. It's a quirky, colorful, fun place and the food is delicious. You can't help overeat but it's still hard to finish as the portions are massive! You might have to wait to be seated but it's... More
