Some friends from California were visiting so we met them in Fairhaven for dinner. Everyone thought Italian would be good so on the recommendation of a different friend we went Mombo Italiano. The food was great. My wife and a friend had oysters which both felt were great. One person had clams and linguine which she raved about while another... More

Great place to meet friends for Italian food in Bellingham. i usually visit once a year when I'm in town for a bike ride to Vancouver. Large portions of food which is always consistently prepared. It never disappoints.

We were headed to the border crossing and decided to eat before joining what we expected to be a long line of cars so we exited for Bellingham. There were a number of options, but we noticed this restaurant seemed be doing an excellent business. My wife and I shared a panini club on soft, baked bread that included thick... More

We had dinner in the historic lobby of a beautiful old building. I had the blackened cod special which was excellent. The service was spot on. We explored the building afterward and made a wish in the fountain.

What a great place!! Short but excellent wine list. House dressing is tart and delicious, every entrée we have tried over the years of eating here have but wonderful. Neat perky atmosphere, just a great place to enjoy a great meal and good company( you have to bring your own "good company".

Our front desk clerk at LaQuinta recommended this restaurant and it was fabulous. The atmosphere great, the service (Katie) was terrific and the food was incredible.

Stopped in for a late lunch on a sunny, warm Thursday afternoon. We were seated promptly outside as we requested. The menu had a variety of pastas, pizza, and sandwiches. My caprese panini was nicely seasoned, and my husband enjoyed his BBQ chicken panini. The girls enjoyed their large pizza and got to take half home. A very pleasant summer... More

I had the oyster poor boy which was quite good but my husband had the penne Primavera that was disappointing ... artichoke hearts were tough and there wasn't enough sauce - he couldn't finish it. Service and atmosphere was good.

We stopped in at Mambo Italiano for dinner, and it was absolutely delicious. It is a cute locally owned restaurant, and little bit on the pricier side but definitely worth it. I would recommend the pesto linguine - delicious!

We sat outside to dine and had two great fettuccine dinners. The staff was attentive and the food was hot. The smells coming from inside was just like you can imagine coming from an Old World Italian grandmother's kitchen. Only downside was no music. Italian music or even some Doris Day and Frank Sinatra would have highlighted the romantic dinner.
