I wanted a good salad and I recalled that this exit (41) there was a travel plaza (TA gas station and travel plaza) that had multiple fast food restaurants as well as a diner inside that offered a hot food buffet as well as a salad bar. They also have a menu, but I wanted the salad bar. I arrived... More

We were stopping for gas on our way out of Wytheville when I noticed this diner. I asked for an order of pancakes to go (as there was no hot breakfast at our hotel since it was X-Mas day). When I went inside, I notice this amazing display of fudge (and saltwater taffey). The display was so good, I picked... More

Asked hotel desk clerk what was open after 10 p.m. other than fast food and was directed to Country Pride restaurant. Found a very clean travel center with convenience store, several fast food restaurants, and the Country Pride restaurant. The waitress was very friendly. We just ordered BLT's and sausage gravy over biscuits. It was very good. They've got fudge,... More

Very convenient stop, multiple snack areas for a quick break on the road: Subway, Popeyes, TacoBell and a diner. The store stocks all sorts of snacks and the bathrooms were clean!!!! And being cleaned!!!!

Ate here on the way back home. Food is hot and delicious. A small buffet but a good variety. Have meats, veegetables, salad, etc. Witress was friendly and kept the drinks full. We always stop here when in Wytheville. If you are looking for a good restaurant, stop here.

Yes I am aware this is a truck stop. However we stopped here at around 8pm on a Friday night for dinner and although there was not one customer in the restaurant, there was not one clean table. Anywhere. The waitresses just stood around playing on their phones while they should have been clearing tables. The food was surprisingly decent,... More

Yes this is a truck stop that has three restaurants under one roof. We choose Country Pride for breakfast at lunch. Bad choice SLOW service. Good not so great. Gas price reasonable. Next time gas only. And yes we were one of 4 two tops

Stop at the travel center of America on our way home from a long weekend I figure truckers know we're to eat Wrong we order the Buffett. What we got was burn mash potatoes dried chicken soup that was nasty. For 32.00 for two people we should have gotten fresh food on the bar but I guess truckers don't know... More
