All of us had omelettes. One a vegetarian, one a Swiss and mushroom, and one a loaded covered with chili. They were all good. Our waitress was funny and great. Busy place, but handled the crowd well.

We have had the pleasure of eating breakfast here several times already. Each time the food was excellent, the staff was very friendly and was concerned with your dining experience. Their stone ground grits are to die for! My granddaughters' blueberry pancakes were loaded with blueberries and she thoroughly enjoyed them! Their toast is made from fresh bakery bread, not... More

Walked in at ten to 3 at change of shift. Wrong time. Waitress getting off not caring if order was correct and waitress coming on balking that what I wanted wasn't written on the ticket. However, everything was straightened out. No worries. Nice little divey diner with overpriced food. The chili burger was dry and didn't have much chili on... More

We stopped into this restaurant after visiting Jamestowne. It is not a big place and we had to wait a bit for a table but after one taste of the burger, we could understand why the locals were all there. Fast service, excellent food-----kind of a "greasy spoon" atmosphere, but in a good way. That is, like an old time... More

This is your classic local diner, and every time I've been here for breakfast or lunch, it's full. A great breakfast, plus burgers, sandwiches, fish... just a good local stop for inexpensive comfort food.

We stopped for lunch. My dad loved his chef salad. Lots of toppings and veggies. He also liked the root beer. I had the gyro and the sauce was freshly made and amazing. My husband also enjoyed his Ruben. The portions were large but the quality and flavor matched. Worth the stop.

Good, solid, comfort food. The place is always packed with locals who want no-nonsense cuisine. The portions are generous, and the prices are very reasonable. My BLT was very good, and the special of the day (two country ham biscuits) was enormous. Service was friendly and homey. Our coffees and water were refilled instantly. Nice address to know.

Ordered one of their signature hamburgers since a friend raved about them. Huge patty with tomato and the works. Plus you can have any side they have on the menu. I order the fired orka and had the biggest serving I have ever seen. Really enjoyed it. Wish I had another day in Williamsburg as I would definitely return here.... More

A little out of the main tourist areas, but worth the visit. Mostly locals. Not crowded for dinner plus a good southern meal. Had the shrimp & grits, with cornbread, turnip greens and stewed tomatoes. Very good! My wife enjoyed the meatloaf with homemade mushroom gravy, mashed potatoes and okra. It is a diner, so not fancy, but a good... More

not often you find excellent food and service to match, Lori the best waitress in the area. The restaurant is very clean and the restrooms are spic and span. It is a good feeling to be served when the waitress does so with a smile. A wide selection from the menu but not cumbersome. Spacious seating and customers are friendly... More
