Understand this place is not fancy nor is the menu extensive but it doesn’t need to be. This is a family-owned restaurant that has been in business a long time. The old house with its wooden floors and small rooms has charm and the personal...More

Home cooking colonial style. Cute old house with lots of antiques. Limited menu but excellent fare. Brunswick Stew and ham biscuits to die for. Reservations are a good idea, call ahead.

Can't believe I've lived in the area, but have just discovered this jewel. My lunch was Miss Becky's which consisted of two ham biscuits, fruit salad, coffee (or tea) and my choice of pie. The thin, but rectangular country ham biscuits were delicious! The fruit...More

Great breakfast, the biscuits are unique, a bit dry but unique to say the least. Staff was great, loved the house, and the resident cat, she's a sweetie. no, they don't let her in the restaurant side, there is a door....and that leads to their...More

Wow, can’t wait to go again! Breakfast was awesome. Go ahead and get the plantation platter with a side of ham gravy and you will have had a taste of the true south! That gravy is great! The biscuits are flat and the size of...More

We visited in January, obviously not their busy season. We were seated within 5 minutes of our arrival, there were only 2 other occupied tables. Our waitress was very attentive. 3 of the 4 of us ordered the Miss Melinda Special, I ordered a chicken...More

We were refused service on Christmas Eve morning. They were not taking reservations and the restaurant had one family in it. The host told us he had tables reserved for other families that had not arrived yet. Absurd! Don't say you are first come first...More

My wife and I love having breakfast here when we visit Williamsburg. Don't look for fine dining here, but think of something you might have at grandma's house after you have spent the night and get up the next morning. Service is attentive and there...More

In Williamsburg for a quick after Christmas trip. This restaurant is a must do for breakfast when ever we are in Williamsburg. Love the look and feel of eating in the early days of this century. I had a Gastric Bypass 6 years ago and...More

This was recommended as a local "go to" place, so we went. It smacks of Southern charm although ON the beaten path of Williamsburg, you can literally go by this place 100 times and never notice it. You enter through a huge door into a...More

I don't think they take reservations. Go early because it gets crowded quickly.

Looks like you got two good sets of directions. There is also parking on the side street. It is a busy place and only open until about 3 p.m. so don't go late.
