Ordered take away fish and chips $9.50 per serve. The fish was flake and was cold in the middle, not cooked through. It was the worst fish and chips I have ever had. We ordered take away to enjoy it at the reserve at Swan...Point as I was once a local. It was too far to go back and complain. The owner couldn't care less about the take away customers and was fluttering politely over the customers who were buying the more expensive meals. I would not recommend this to anyone else.More
We drove past initially, but after an attempt to eat at a nearby winery which lacked any welcome, we drove back! The welcome and service here at this delightful little eatery just across the road overlooking the Tamar River, was wonderful and our serving of...Tassie scallops and salad exceptionally tasty. Despite being very busy on this Sunday afternoon, the 2 ladies behind the counter offered great service to each patron / table. Several weeks later when heading towards Launceston before a concert, we returned and received the same warm welcome and service. Definitely on our 'must return' list.More
A friendly and relaxed cafe in a pretty site overlooking the river, it is a good spot for lunch.
I was expecting more Greek food so was disappointed that there was very little, but the place does advertise itself as a fish restaurant and on...that front they did a good job.
We did enjoy our lunch but apart from the position it's really not very exciting and not somewhere I would rush back to.More
