Breakfast bar had fried bologna. It was good. Ordered a patty melt with fries. Wife ordered hamburger with onion rings Order was filled the way we asked and sandwiches were very good. Service was great and prices were reasonable.

Don't eat here. The building is in disrepair. The bathrooms were run-down, and dirty. The food was unimpressive. The salad bar had plain, iceberg lettuce. Not a good selection on the buffet. My husband's fried cod sandwich was over-cooked and tasted nothing like cod. My meal wasn't much better. We come through this area every year but we will never... More
We stopped here on our drive to Knoxville. It was our first time visiting a Shoney's so we decided to try the buffet. It was a very good buffet as these things go. It contained meat loaf and baked and fried chicken. The mash potatoes were either out of a can or preprocessed from a package and tasteless as was... More
Tried the breakfast buffett for the 1st time in years. Some if the best bacon I've ever had,not to mention the eggs and sausage. I also had a salad off the salad bar for desert!
Besides the fact that the server was very nice and tried her best, the food was awful! The choices were extremely bad, remembering what used to be available at Shoney's many years ago, and the quality of food was horrible! Choices were very inconsiderable and I will never eat at Shoney's again!
My husband and I hadn't eaten at one for 15 years so when we received a gift certificate so we thought we would give it a try. We ate from the buffet and it was a mistake. We arrived at 7pm and so much of the food was dried up or had been sitting for awhile. I asked the waitress... More
I stopped for breakfast at this southern institution that has closed all locations near my Atlanta home. This USED TO BE a really top notch buffet, but now I know apparently why all of the Shoney's near me have gone out of business. The basics were still there, and really can't be screwed up -- scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage etc.... More
Stopped on way home for lunch. Heavy construction outside and not real busy. Staff was very friendly and food was mediocre. Ordered fish sandwich that was very crunchy and appeared to be fried in old grease. Overall about average on other dishes.
Had the breakfast bar and we looked forward to a large selection. The food was hot and the eggs were nicely done. Enjoyed the fruit and the French toast. The restaurant was clean and the rest rooms were also clean. Offered us a senior discount without asking. Staff was nice and service was good.
Hadn't been to a Shoney's in forever. I think my son enjoyed it more than I did. He was intrigued by the buffet. If I go back again, it would be for him. Good for families. Right off the interstate, makes it good for travelers off of 81 or locals.
