The food here was fantastic - loved the corn bread and the salads. We were in a back room for a large group, which worked fine, but service was slow between courses.

Whoa, I thought the food would would be good, but it was over the top delicious. I ordered the vegetable ragout, and I can't begin how to explain the many layers of flavors nuanced throughout this wonderful pasta dish! Believe me I never go on...More

There were parts of our experience that were great: my wife loved her meal, the cocktails were superb, and everything we ordered looked wonderful. But there were elements that were merely mediocre: my meal came out barely warm, the steak had a vein of gristle...More

Just a nice little stop for martinis and dessert. The martini (gin, dry, twist) was very enjoyable and dessert was delicious! Didn’t realize dessert would be quite as “deconstructed” as it was but it was a pleasure to dine here nonetheless. Very dark atmosphere, so...More

Had dinner here after a performance at the Blackfriars Playhouse (not to be missed, by the way). My wife and I both chose the four-course tasting menu, a good deal at $50 not including wine. We've done tasting menus at a number of restaurants over...More

I can't speak about the quality of the food. We were seated at the bar while waiting for a table, no problem. We ordered drinks, 1 beer and 1 glass of wine...then we waited and waited. The bar wasn't busy, another couple came in after...More

No dress requirements. Generally guests are dressed smart casual. Jeans to jackets would be just fine, whatever is comfortable. Hopefully this helps.

I don't think so but you can call them to confirm. They do have a wide selection of wines especially from the Virginia wineries.
