Such a pleasant surprise! Went here for a luncheon with family and colleagues after an event at Quantico. Everyone enjoyed their meal and the food was quite good. Great atmosphere as well. Tons of neat memorabilia all over the restaurant.

I liked the old location (ok, it has been years since the relocation but the memories remain) but this one offers more space. Great memorabilia, excellent waitstaff, and fantastic food. Order anything on the menu, you will like it. We come often and will return...More

Great place to grab a nice sit down meal. I had the Cuban Sandwich with came with homemade chips. Very good! Server and hostess were polite and I even stopped next door for a good cigar and draft beer. Restaurant is like a mini museum...More

Service was slow but friendly. Salad was shredded but flavorful. Soup was only warm. Prime rib was cold and tasteless. Bathroom was dirty. Only plus was the history. Hopefully it was just an extremely busy night.

Met an old USMC friend here for lunch. I don't understand the poor reviews this place gets. They must not be Marines. We met and ate at the bar for lunch. I had one of the best bowls of chili I have ever had and...More

Been here before. The inside is like a museum to the Marine Corp. and law enforcement / FBI Academy. Unfortunately the service and food was less then acceptable. We had reservations for 6 PM, didn't start to get food served until 8 PM. Meals were...More

Fantastic history, food, and service. This is "the place" to celebrate all things Marine. The Globe and Laurel has been host for all our family celebratory Marine gatherings. I suggest it highly. In addition, they are open during the day for mid-day post graduation celebrations.

This is a great place when you feel like going to a good old fashioned supper club. The cozy atmosphere and friendly service make up for the limited menu.

Visited here while on a business trip. The food was ok, but not of a quality I would want to return. The decor is interesting, but the food is so so. Had the prime rib but it was unremarkable. Neither my business partner or I...More

The Globe and Laurel has been in business since 1968 when founded by a retired Marine Major and his wife. The restaurant is frequented by many of the police officers who come to train at the FBI Academy. Consequently, the memorabilia collection is overwhelming with...More
