We've been to Roma's as a couple and also with family - and we've always had excellent service, great food, and a nice time! They're capable of handling large groups, as well. A wide variety of dishes, their specials are always excellent. Large portions, so we always have leftovers. Their pizza is so good! I love their crust, it's a unique flavor from others I've had. They offer everything from soups and salads, appetizers, main dishes, and desserts. They've recently installed a bar so they now offer cocktails, and they also have a wonderful selection of wines you may choose from to go with your meal. We celebrated my birthday there recently and I got the cream puffs for dessert; chilled raspberry creme in puff pastry, drizzled with chocolate sauce and sprinkled with powdered sugar. It was really good! You just can't go wrong at Roma, please give it a try if you're in Sandston!

My husband and I rarely go out to eat, but we went out for a special treat to celebrate my birthday. The food was great and our waitress was both friendly and helpful when asked for recommendations on foods and wines. We enjoyed our evening out and plan to take friends and family here when they come into town to visit us.

I am very glad my wife suggested we have lunch at The Roma Restaurant. The atmosphere was laid back and very relaxed. The staff was extremely friendly and our waitress was fantastic. The food was incredible; it was hard to make just one choice because everything sounded Great. I look forward to returning! I would recommend eating at Roma's to everyone. Especially if your flying out of Richmond, we ordered extra food to go and they wrapped it up to make it easier to carry on the plane. Thanks for that!!

Chose this location because menu offered pptions for various diet restrictions in our group and it was easy gor all to get to.
The salads were top notch, some were sides with dinner, some were main dish. Salmon dalad was exactly what I expected and the Salmon was perfectly grilled. Pasta was quite good. I would go back...

Very Consistent definition of excellent food and service! The specials are always outstanding. This I love because you get to really see the quality of the chefs that get creative. Special shout out to Sara, Kayla and Polly, they do and outstanding job.

Great salads, homemade dressings ranch and Italian. Salad so fresh we didn’t need dressing but we definitely dipped our tools in them to soak up the goodness. Got the mussels in white sauce they also offer red sauce which is marinara. Great service and close to 295 and 64 interstates. We got the Greek salad added grilled chicken and the Mediterranean salad comes with filet mignon.

If I had gone to dinner here by myself, this would have been 5 stars. I had the tour of Italy pasta dish, which is awesome. All 4 components (manicotti, lasagna, chicken parm and spaghetti & meatball) were great, but the chicken parm was exceptional. I don't think I have ever ordered chicken parm in my life, but I might just do it on a future visit. But honestly, any of these 4 as an entree would have been great. My wife's dish, on the other hand, was not very good. She went with the pick and choose pasta special, and ordered angel hair pasta with pesto sauce. Didn't know it until it arrived, but the pesto sauce is more of a creamy sauce, and it kind of made all the noodles lumpy and soft. It did not taste very good. Her dinner was salvaged by ordering tiramisu for dessert, which she loved. Libbie was our server, and did a great job. When we arrived, we were only the 2nd couple in the front dining area. By the time we left, all the booths in that room were full, and she was taking care of all of them, and doing it well. We will definitely come back again, and just not order pesto.

Perhaps the finest Italian meal we have had in quite some time. The dinner dishes were excellent and amply proportioned. Even the dinner rolls came out steaming, fresh from the oven- and were delicious. The cocktails were expertly crafted. The fig and almond Old Fashioned was surprisingly very tasty. The smoked Old Fashioned was a presentation that must be experienced- and very good.
The server was delightful and most attentive. The prices were very reasonable.
For bourbon fans, the list of available bourbons was curated nicely. An extensive list of fine bourbon and also offered were some very hard to find selections. Some very nice Scotch too.

Excellent food and personal service for the rehearsal dinner for our son. Couldn't have asked for a better venue. Easy parking for the guests and the attention from.the staff was superior. Since the rehearsal was at the Mankin Mansion, it was an easy uber or drive from downtown or the east end and the quality was far better than many restaurants that were downtown. It was easy to have conversations and the attentive staff made the night very smooth. Separate room, AV equipment, separate, bathroom and I could go on and on.
Antonio and their staff made the event a hugh success!

Favorite mussels and meatballs appetizer, calamari, house salad w HOMEMADE Ranch and Italian dressing! Oh and everything w the lemon cream sauce. Eggplant parmigiana meal, baked spaghetti w mushrooms, chicken philly sub, tuna salad plate, Best pepperoni and mushroom pizza get a large you will love it! Calzone is Huge and the speciality plates are worth it! All sangrias are great here and the house red, great selection of quality drafts. It doesn’t stop there either VANILLA BEAN Cheesecake is life here!!! All the desserts are good but you gotta get the homemade cheesecake or your a fool. Great to go service as well and conveniently located just off both interstates! And everyone loved the rolls with dinner.

We had our son & new daughter-in-law's rehearsal dinner at Roma, in the private dining room. We live 2 hours away and were a bit anxious about how this dinner would be handled. After the initial planning meeting with Antonio, our minds were put at ease. Later, each time I called him, he was so helpful and answered all of my questions. The dinner was a huge success. The food was absolutely delicious, the wait staff was excellent, the room was beautiful and everything went according to plan. Antonio & staff were amazing! Thank you for making this happy event so special!!

We recently had a 70th birthday celebration at Roma's. Antonio was very helpful when planning the menu and with following up the morning of the event just to confirm. The staff was also very helpful during the celebration. Food was delicious as always. I would recommend Roma's no matter the size of your group. Ours was a group of 20, but the room could have accommodated a lot more.

We all got different dishes and loved how tasty they were. The eggplant parmigiana is one of the best I’ve ever had with the thin layers lightly battered. Meatballs appetizer ummm yummy topped with cheese. Grilled chicken breast salad very filling and definitely will get rid of your salad cravings as a meal. Italian house salads we got with the pastas dishes have a slice of cheese and salami and we are greedy with the ranch and Italian dressings. The chicken Florentine is a great alternative to all the regular pasta dishes and he couldn’t finish it all but wanted to is how happy he was with the dish. Pizza we specifically ordered with black olives that I love, the sliced Italian sausage and not the balls which he loved also with mushrooms and onions large thin crust a delicious creation all of us shared.

Booked my daughter's rehearsal dinner at Roma. Being from out of state, it is hard to pick a place to eat. Roma was amazing. Antonio was amazing, he kept in contact and made it easy for our large group to just relax.
The food....omg. Every plate was hot, and there was enough food to take home. I did not have 1 complaint from any of the guests. Every guest raved about the food. Service was precise, fast, and great. Thank you to Roma for making a stressful event enjoyable.

Antonio and his staff did an outstanding job in sitting up a beautiful room for a family celebration we held there. His attention to detail, willingness to help in any way and excellent customer service by him and his staff was terrific... Highly recommend using his banquet room for any event - and the food was delicious...
