While visiting in Roanoke, our B&B innkeeper (Rose Hill B&B) recommended Wildflour. What a treat! Great space with a massive case full of delicious cakes and baked goods. We split a piece of strawberry cake...so good! I knew I was going to indulge in cake, so I opted for salad for dinner - an excellent grilled shrimp salad. Very solid... More

It is hard to find good vegetarian fare while on the road, but finding Wildflour changed all that for me. It was truly hard to decide from all the choices available, so my dining partner split two. The dessert menu was another nearly impossible decision making task, but we also chose two and split them...they were so large, though, that... More

My husband and I ate here for dinner. I ordered quiche (though it was called something else) with a mixed baby greens salad. Quiche was not very good; green salad was nothing special, but greens were very fresh. My husband ordered a tostada and a grilled cheese sandwich. The tostada was just OK, and the grilled cheese on sourdough was... More

Cobb salad was excellent. I will definitely be back to try more... even dessert at some point. Food was fresh and excellent.

My wife and I went here at the recommendation of the owners of a B&B nearby. It's a bit off the main drag of Roanoke but that kind of adds to the atmosphere it just fits perfectly into its surroundings as a neighborhood eatery as you'd find in Napa or something. All the menu items and desserts are unique and... More

The bread and olive oil starters were just the beginning of a delicious meal. Everything is fresh and tasty.

I wish I had the experience of other reviewers. We came here as a "healthy" alternative. I ordered an overpriced filet and it came out smothered in some type of gross gravy. Who takes a superior cut such as a filet and smothers it? No you leave it alone and let the taste speak for itself. Neither my stomach later... More

We came here on xmas weekend for a small dinner. I loved the overall charm of the location, and the staff was really nice. They even put a little sign with our name on it since we made a reservation. It's the little things I like! I would recommend you make a reservation if you think it will be busy.... More

A bit of a reoccurring theme, thank you Trip Advisor and Yelp. This is one stop on our 2014 road trip. It was getting late, and I hate going to an empty restaurant an hour before closing and being the only one there. We showed up at 8:15 in the middle of the week and had to wait a few... More

Loved the food and the art on the walls. There were a lot of people there - clearly a locals place. I'd go again.
