A seismic shift from the old 'Cimba' with new owners and staff - the good news, after a period for things to settle, is that the service and food are fine ... and there is more energy about the place - especially early mornings. I, and the locals, all love a good selection and supply of newspapers; quick service, people who remember your coffee order and do not forget to smile - and most importantly in the present climate - people who can adapt to working with, teaching and employing inexperienced wait staff - welcome ... and well done.

Cosy eatery with nice food and coffee near Cottesloe train station and Primewest mall. Friendly and helpful service from staff. Will come again.

In a street with many coffee outlets each one needs to offer something special but starting with excellent coffee served as requested. There was a warm welcoming vibe and cheerful people serving in Cimbalino but the coffee served to me lacked both the flavour and heat that I expected on a cool winter morning.

Had to visit again to have Huevos Rancheros and it didn't disappoint. It was spicy with lots of chorizo and a yummy soft egg. Great lunch/brunch on a cold winters day.

We were disappointed the last time we visited Cimbalino, but we gave it another try and service was much improved. Very nice place to drop in for coffee and a muffin, or delicious breakfast and lunch.

Great food, coffee and, above all, service!
We both ordered the Trio of Mushrooms dish, which was delicious. The chef personally came out and delivered the meal to us and explained the flavours, etc. Such a nice touch!! He also checked in with us after the meal to find out if we'd enjoyed it.
We usually only have coffee here, but it's safe to say that we'll be back for food :)

Since the new owner has taken over this place is absolutely buzzing!
Best coffee and breakfasts in cott plus you can always get parking and it is still just walking distance from the beach 😍

I went to this cafe for breakfast on a Saturday morning with my parents and my 10 month old child. They did not have high chairs available for babies, despite being promoted on google as being good for kids.
I ordered the omelette with spinach and feta tossed through, thinking it would be cooked in. The spinach and feta was on the side, along with some burnt toast.
I will not be going back to this cafe.

Often meet a friend here for coffee. Lots of tables for two inside as well as larger tables in side and in the arcade. There coffee is excellent. Lots of choices for lunch as well as cake and sweet serves.getsvwry busy around lunch time. Think they close late afternoon.

Only had the deliciously smooth, creamy coffee and small nibbles that were a treat as takeaway. Great service and friendly staff. The dine in area looks cozy as do the warming heaters in the courtyard area that also welcomes your friendly canine.

Went here on Australia Day, wasn't to busy, got a seat quite easily.
I ordered the bircher muesli with a watermelon and mint juice and my partner ordered the BBQ Beef Eggs Hollandaise with a caramel milkshake.
Our food came relatively quick seeing with was a public holiday, food was presented perfectly and tasted absolutely delicious. Service was great would definitely go here for breakfast again!

Took my own takeaway cup in and they refused to fill it. Said it was policy not to 'do thermo refills' and they only served takeaway coffee in their own disposable cups. Not sure what makes them more special than their customer or the environment. Bad karma, average coffee....

This used to be one of our favourite spots for breakfast of a mid-day light meal. The selection of food whilst not extensive was always tasty and well presented by friendly staff. Tables in the adjacent lane provided a quiet environment and ambiance where you could dine and have a conversation without having to compete with loud music. Sadly the recently introduced high high volume music has destroyed the earlier pleasant atmosphere. Two respectful requests to reduce the volume to a 'background music' level were ignored. Perhaps this explains somewhat the apparent decreasing patronage compared to several months ago.
