What a little gem

We met some friends here the other day for lunch, it’s a great little place with some fantastic dishes. The menu is not huge but very reasonably priced, the wine list is rather small and a little on the pricey side but all in all it’s well worth while. Will look forward to coming again to this place, highly recommend this little restaurant, well away from places that you would expect it to be. If you do want to have a meal here make sure you book as they are very busy.

Excellent breakfast

We had a short window of time to have breakfast and the staff went out of their way to help. Everyone from the manager at the front to the waitstaff and kitchen staff were super attentive and professional. The pancakes were fresh as was the generous serving of poached eggs, spinach and bacon. Coffee was also excellent and we could not fault anything. In fact the only hiccup was that the young cashier wasn’t sure how to process a tip via credit card. Will certainly return. Well done.

Lovely cafe

Great little cafe hidden in the back streets. Decided to check it out based on reviews and we weren’t disappointed. Cost $180 for 4 adults with 1 bottle wine + 2 other alcoholic drinks, mains, coffee and a clips of biscuits. Food was excellent. Service was good. Great find.

Terrible “service”

Normally a decent suburban cafe. Coffee and food normally good. Service .... terrible. Left standing in the “waiting zone” for 10-15 minutes in the cold weather with a 5 year old. Many customers gave up and walked passed got seated. Eventually I gave up and approached the counter. Shocked that a customer had come in past their ignored waiting zone they placed us at the front door with the breeze. Nice touch. Coffee order was taken then served incorrectly. Both drinks were completed before they even bothered to come back and ask for our order. The complete lack of care and absolute arrogance has lost them a a customer that normally visited every week. When at the table I was going to Walk out however my child was hungry.

Disappointing brunch

Tried this place for first time, waited 30mins for coffee and 45mins for food. Omelette arrived looking like a giant fried egg nothing omelettey about it and cold. Toast also cold. Whole atmosphere seemed chaotic and staff not in control. Disappointing for first visit, not sure will go a second time.

A bit disappointed

The food is always yummy, but they really need to work on portion sizes for the "make your own eggs", $6 extra for a quarter of an avocado is a little silly and I barely got an egg worth of scrambled eggs (supposed to be 2 eggs). I have a feeling it's cause the rest of my table had scrambled eggs and mine was plated last, never the less, felt a lil ripped off. 2 pieces of toast and one egg doesn't quite work :(

Good Restaurant for Special Needs Diets

There are several Gluten- free options, several vegan options and vegetarian meals. I love coming here. The staff were friendly. We did not wait long for our food. There are beautiful canvas paintings on one of the walls for sale.

Hidden gem in Ringwood

Excellent place to eat and grab a coffee while waiting for the kids at school. I would thoroughly recommend this place to anyone and to that self entitled moron currently in the media who is trying to make issues over a muffin and is trying to give this place a bad name due to his complete selfishness should be ashamed of himself. This is a hard working business worth supporting!!

A hidden secret loved by locals

It is just a great place and I love the fact that it is in the middle of suburbia and therefore a hit for many local residence. The food is scrumptious and the service equally as good. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and whilst it is a strange part to add to a review, the toilets are in a sensible location and clean and fresh, which isn’t always the case with many others hospitality venues. Easy street parking and they take bookings, critical on busy days.

Family Lunch ... Very Good

Large long table arranged for fifteen, including kids & babies. Prompt service, good menu range and quality food. Lovely decor & design. No complaints. Nice suburban cafe worth a visit.

Great for a visit with pups.

Local with good coffee and great food. Pups walked in as if he owns the place as he knows the location and staff. Had eaten there before and he received pats and a water bowl with attention which he loved. Didn’t order his usual but they asked if he wanted something else. If only dogs could talk. !!

Great brunch place, helpful staff, good gluten free options too

Located out in the 'burbs, this place is a hidden gem! Great staff, the menu was awesome and similarly the food and coffee. Definitely recommend to Melbourne friends and we will visit again next time we're in Melbourne. Thanks for a lovely morning :-)

Wish was opened years ago.

Small local cafe in suburban location. Hidden away in side street but locals know about it as always busy. Lucky it wasn’t here when children attended local schools as after morning drop off would end up with resulting in a non productive day after a Bloody Mary or two with school group.
