Ordered a southern chicken burger and chips. A friend ordered a nasi goreng.. Our meal arrived about 5-10 minutes after we ordered and the only hot element of the meal was the chips. The chicken in the burger was cold and the cheese on the...chicken wasnt melted. The chicken in the nasi goreng wasnt hot either. When I spoke to the waitress and asked if the meals were cooked fresh she assured me that all meals were freshly prepared to order. We will not be returning.More

A few points from our lunch today: They forgot a few aspects from my pizza, including one of the key sauces that gives it it's flavour. We were told 10 minutes after having ordered that the kitchen had run out of GF buns, so my...partner decided to order what I was having. This resulted in my food arriving 10 minutes prior to my partner's. I understand that mine would have been prepared and ready earlier, but I would much rather have had the kitchen keep it under a heat lamp so we can have our food at the same time. I didn't want to eat when my partner couldn't so I waited but the down side of this was that it became cold. Once my partner's food arrived, I had to remind the waitress that we had ordered starters, she asked kitchen if they had it which they clearly didn't, and then told us it's "Definitely coming". It definitely was, but 5 minutes later. They had obviously forgotten to make it in the kitchen and made it as soon as they were reminded. This was very disappointing. This was all very disappointing, as the restaurant was very quiet with only 3 other tables. On top of this, the chef did not do much to brighten our spirits, passive aggressively dinging the bell to get the already aware staff's attention, it would have been nice to see him use his energy to get our order correct rather than ruining the ambience in the restaurant with unnecessary bell dinging. The food was also very overpriced, overall not coming back any-time soon.More

staff lied to us telling us we could only play with cash as the ANZ network was down Australia wide, a quick phone call proved this wrong. we still had to walk to the other side of the center to find an ATM. staff wore...gloves the whole time and did no change them to handle money, dirty or clean plates. one of the serves even blew into the glove while it was on his hand and continued to use the now dirty glove. we where given dirty looks from other members of staff when we tried to voice out complaints at the counter and where given no apologizes.More

Three of us went for lunch today and I ordered the lamb pita. The chef put the meal up ready for the wait staff, who, rather than serving, walked past it on 6 occasions whilst just putting drink glasses away. Finally, literally 10 minutes after...the meal was ready, the waitress brought it over. No surprise that the lamb was cold, so I returned it. With barely an apology from the waitress, I had to then cancel the order as others in our group were already well into their meals, leaving no time to prepare a new meal. Can't comment on the food quality since I went without lunch, though I can't recommend the service- not enough staff, who seemed to think it's OK to deliver cold meals to different members of a group 15 minutes apart.More

Quite a spacious restaurant with a combo of tables and comfy booths. Also has separate private rooms and an upstairs function area. Service was attentive and friendly. We had basic meals , chicken Parma and chicken skewers from the specials list. Nice but have had...better. The tintara cab sav was an excellent drop. Topped it all of with a delicious baileys cheesecake and coffee. All very reasonably priced and in a nice atmosphere.More

First of the food took over an hour to come and they were not very busy. Ordered the steak which was $45. Definitely not worth that price. Steak was nothing special at all, came with a carrot cut in half and a small amount of...mash. They should be only charging around $25 for that in my opinion. My mother ordered the Paella, didn’t realise that it came with chilli as we are Spanish and never in our lives have we had or ordered a paella that had chilli in it. So we swapped meals as she didn’t eat chilli and I do. But the amount of chilli they put was really ridiculous! I called the waitress over and let her know that the chilli was really too much, she apologised and said I could order something else but I’d still need to pay for the paella. So I ate as much as I could. On top of my mouth being on fire, the rice had absolutely no taste! Paella is cooked with all the other ingredients so that all the flavours make the rice taste really nice, as I picked through it I could see the inside was still white so they had used steamed rice and put it all together like that, chucked a couple of prawns , burnt chorizo and muscles that were so small they had shriveled up and didn’t bother even eating those. This dish was an absolute disaster and it’s a disgrace that they are even serving this dish when they have no idea how to make it. I paid for a bowl of rice with chilli. Also ordered a side salad which had so much onion in it that it was more like an onion salad. I hate to write such a negative review but I really have nothing good to say about this place Our overall experience was terrible and a complete waste of money. My family and I came here for an evening which was meant to be a celebration of mine and my fiances engagement, however it unfortunately turned into one of the worst nights out I've ever experienced. The first waitress who served us just acted like...she couldn't care less about our drinks orders, and walked away from our table before all of our party had even finished ordering. She forgot to bring our drinks after 20 minutes of waiting and when we reminded her, she brought the wrong drinks and then rolled her eyes at us when we corrected her! Another waitress came over to check on our table and collected our order, but the same thing happened - either drinks were forgotten, the wrong things were brought, or were singles when we asked for doubles (spirits wise). Clearly there was just no communication whatsoever between the staff, and they either had no idea what was on their menu, or they just didn't care. The food was no better either - the kitchen was inflexible with ordering for dietary restrictions, the waiters had no knowledge of the menu/specials/what could be altered etc, and clearly didn't care to find out for the patrons, and the were quite rude when I asked if anything on the menu was vegan friendly. When the meals finally did come out, the entrees and mains all came out together when we asked for them separately, items were forgotten and we were even charged for an entree we didn't ask for. We had to continuously pull the staff up because there were so many errors caused because they clearly weren't listening and didn't care to even do the bare minimum. The staff were honestly so rude that I ended up in tears at the table out of frustration that the experience was just so unprofessional and apathetic. The manager saw me in tears and came over to try and make amends, and she was very nice and apologetic. She told me to come and see her at the end of the meal so she could try and sort things out for us, but when I went to see her at the end, she had already gone home! In the end all that they did for us was not charge us for the meal they incorrectly served us as a main when it was meant to be an entree - a pretty sub-par attempt to make up for the worst service I've ever received. I was a regular visitor to meet up with friends on evenings after work for dinner ect, since the renovations I won’t be coming back. The menu has changed half of the regular dish have gone , I ordered a $34 meat plate only to...get 4 pieces of meat to the size of 50 cents hardly and salad. It was tasteless ect . We went to Switch Lifestyle for a family dinner gathering on a Friday night (07th of June). From the outside the restaurant looked very cosy and professional. We sat in the booth and started ordering drinks. First of all, one of our drinks (the ’High...school drop out’ mock tails) was forgotten as we saw other tables drinks was served before our drink and it didn’t come until we asked the waiter to check on it. Secondly, we ordered 2 steaks, 1 salmon, pizza and a burger and it tasted horrible, my steak was so salty I couldn’t eat it even though I tried to eat a quarter of the steak since it was $45 and I was starving. My upper lips started to get swollen so I stopped eating. I was very unhappy with my meal as I could’ve gone to a different restaurant paid the same amount of money with better experience. One of my sisters had the salmon and it was also too salty and the soba noodle was stone cold. The whole experience was ruined. Not to mention, our mum’s food (Pepperoni pizza) never came out after nearly 45 minute of waiting and the rest of our food was already on the table. She was starving, upset and disappointed. The waiter came and check on us and she didn’t even notice my mums food was missing, we asked and turned out she forgot to put it through. So there would be another 15-20 minute wait. However we decided to leave without having the pizza. As myself working in hospitality industry, I did not want to be one of the ‘complaining’ guests however, thinking of the amount of money we’re paying for the quality of the service and the food it was really not worth it, one after another mistakes kept occurring which have ruined our night out. So I decided to talk to the manager and ask for compensations. He was thoughtful and apologetic. Hence, this 1 Star is for his actions and the other 1 Star is for my partner’s steak as it was not as horrible as mine ( I tried it and it was not salty like mine) Despite the compensation made by the manager which I really appreciated, our family would never come back or recommend the place to anyone we know.More

We had our daughters 21st here earlier in the month. On a busy Saturday night, the staff were really attentive to our group and the food and drinks service were excellent. We were in the function area behind reception and suprisingly noise of the restaurant...was not an issue. Would definitely recommend to thers.More

We often go the Switch in the evenings after a movie, but this time we popped in for lunch. It wasn't very busy and the staff were efficient and friendly. As usual hubby went for his fave burger and I went for the specials menu....The Hungarian Goulash was delicious, just the thing for a cool day. The prices are sometimes a little high, but it was a yummy and satisfying meal.More
