Situated in a superb part of Tamar River the dining experience is disappointing. Service by well meaning but inexperienced staff and pretty ordinary food.

Ordered scallops for lunch & a glass of white wine. Scallops were crumbed and quite small underneath. Local wine was adequate - friendly server allegedly couldn't help me with choice (understandably) as she was underage. . Accompanying salad was reasonably fresh. Busy due to location...More

Beautiful old heritage pub with the best food on the coast.! Do yourself a favour if you are in the area, grab a plate of salt & pepper squid, and the pork belly. Yum,Yum,Yum is all I can say. Welcoming staff aways helps as well.

We were a group of approx. 40 getting together for a Christmas Breakup. A lovely venue but so noisy. Food was average, the entree of pork belly was quite enjoyable but the chicken breast very dry with no filling just seemed whole breast was put...More
