Phoned ahead (usually that's what you do) and was told by the Tenny on the phone that my meal would take 40mins, "it's very busy tonight". I ordered the basic barramundi and chips x 3 and a serve of calamari. I arrived at the shop 10 mins before order and was informed it would be another 15 min. While waiting... More

The Food is Good but The Service Not So, very slow. Also if you are doing take away, make sure you check your order before you leave

Lunch here was a test on "good ol fashioned battered red lip emperor" and excellent! Fresh flaky fish, scrumptious crispy batter not too thick or oily. Its a 9 out of 10. Gotta leave a little room for improvements but overall the place is nice cozy clean and good service. Well done.

Simplicity and niceness just so great for... More

We stopped in here purposely after learning they do gluten free fish and chips too. The children loved their lunches of calamari and chips and my fish was beautifully cooked. It was a very enjoyable lunch - my father in particular loves his seafood and said he wants to come back again.

Just ordered takeaway - calamari and chips, very good value for money and tasty. Little hideaway off the main street with gorgeous views out the back if you decide to dine in.

Note, the front entrance looks pretty uninviting and closed. Don't be deceived. The seating is either inside or mostly outside out back, looking over a lake. Quite enjoyable. Fish Tales was perfect except slightly pricey. Would have given 5 stars if the price was a little more reasonable. However what they do serve is fantastic. The Burger was really juicy... More
