Great food, good service. It was really busy when we arrived but we didn’t have to wait too long for our drinks or food and everything was excellent

Nice spot, but terrible food, tasteless and bland. Staff were polite but unenthusiastic. Other better places in this area to visit, been many times hoping it’ll improve but given up after today.
It’s not very often that I return to a cafe/restaurant whilst on holidays but have been here 3 times this holiday. The choice of food is very good and every meal we had was tasty and amazing. The coffee is first class. The setting very...peaceful. The staff fantastic. Highly recommend.More
Delightful cafe with indoor and outdoor seating. Stunning food from a very diverse and interesting menu. The food was so good, we went back for another lunch 2 days later. All day breakfasts and great lunch menu.
Scones were dry and crumbly on the outside and chewy on the inside. Drinks came out at staggered intervals so the first person had finished but the time the second coffee was served. Same with the rest of the order. Garden looked tired and untidy....Overall disappointingMore
Super happy with our experience at The Windmill Cafe. Our meals were so good, and I ordered a smoothie and it was so yummy. All the staff were super friendly and helpful. It's such a nice atmosphere as well being surrounded by lots of plants...and greenery. So lots of shade and away from the heat. We will definitely be back the next time we're in Bagara.More
Without a doubt THE BEST brekkie I’ve ever had! Pumpkin, macadamia crumb, rocket, goats cheese… I added toast on the side which I felt it needed for the crunch… works with bacon too (I stole a bit from my partners plate to try with it)
What a lovely place to sit under trees. Lovely service and the best home made corn fritters I've had in a long time. So fresh.
Breakfast was so good we came back again the next day. The food was delicious and the place was super kid friendly. Loved the touches like putting the kids drinks in reusable bottles so they don’t spill. The dragon fruit bowl was amazing.
We first visited the Windmill when visiting family in the area back in 2019 and were VERY excited to come back now we are able to visit Australia again. Thankfully it’s as excellent as we remembered. This is a super spot for a breakfast after...a swim. Food is excellent, coffee great, staff friendly and environs are full of character. Definitely one of my favourite places for breakfast and we will definitely return again.More
great ice cream with lots of flavours even if a bit on the expensive side, however the sorbets are to die for.
We usually have ice cream at least once in the 2 weeks we spend in area every year. They have a huge range of flavours to choose from at a moderate price.....but let's face it you're on holidays.
We were visiting Bargara and caught up with a friend for brunch one morning on a Wednesday. We sat out the back in the garden in the sun. What a great relaxing spot to sit in the sun with lovely garden surrounds. Fantastic food and...great coffee and friendly staff. I had the Windmill Stack and coffee and son had a strawberry gelato which was amazing. I would defiantly ring to book a table if going on a weekend. If we ever go back to Bargara, we will defiantly be visiting again.More
Arrived around 8am was quite busy didn’t have a booking but we got the last table at the time. Coffee was great and the bacon and egg roll hit the spot nicely. Quick service would recommend you book so you don’t miss out well worth...visiting.More
