The Windmill is a quirky Cafe that serves, breakfasts, lunches, morning and afternoon teas daily. We not only cater for the main stream we also have a wide selection of gluten and dairy free options as well as vegetarian and vegan options. All meals are prepared fresh daily on the premises, by our talented chefs. We also have amazing coffee made by some of the best baristas in Bargara. Our coffee is made on filtered rain water and is second to none. We are also a gelateria serving award winning gelato. Come on in with family/friends and furry friends and relax and enjoy the tranquil surrounds while trying our tantalizing menu items.

Great vibe. Trendy with some great art work to view whilst you wait for the best coffee in Bundaberg to be served. Food groovy too!

Not customer friendly! Went for late lunch as two couples, place empty except for one table chatting nearby The 4 of us struggled over the one menu we were given, and when our friend asked the waiter for a second he was amazed to be...told by the young server it was ‘policy’ only to give out one! The place was empty, we were shocked at such awful customer service so we left and ate elsewhereMore

We had such high expectations about eating here on a sunny Sunday morning. After all, you can't do much wrong with eggs, can you? Well, yes if you leave them long enough on the plate before delivering them to your table. The bacon was cold...by the time it arrived and the eggs "sunny side up" had hardened, The service was friendly, but a little harassed, and the place was packed. If you're outside, in the sun. it can get uncomfortably hot and market umbrellas were few and far between. We didn't return.More

Great food, great service, pleasant outdoorsy but shady (or sunny if preferred) seating with most undercover but no actual indoor seating. There was always a beautiful breeze to be found here as with most parts of Bargara so it was never too hot. Might need...to book on a weekend or during school holidays for the peak breakfast times, as this is most certainly the prime cafe in Bargara as is shown by its popularity. Forget Ricks with its mediocre food and mediocre service, the Windmill Cafe is the place to eat breakfast or lunch in Bargara! Be aware that they close at 2pm so have an early lunch rather than a late lunch, and if you order the açai bowl or the dragonfruit bowl you will be blown away both by the ten or eleven different fruits in them, by the magnificent arrangement of said fruit, but also by the SIZE. You may want to share with a friend on this one. My favourite freshly squeezed juice was the Rest and Restore, my husband's was the Glowing Goddess (yes, that's him for sure), but the mango smoothie also deserves a mention. Favourite breakfasts for me were the corn fritter stack and the smashed pumpkin, but all our breakfasts here were good. We were in Bargara for two weeks and ate at the Windmill for either breakfast or lunch about every second day. Delicious!More

Location good; Appearance of the place is superb and very captivating from the wisteria on the gate and the windmill above; The chairs of all varieties dotted around the internal and external areas of beautifully landscaped garden....so very picturesque. Artwork inside is great as is...the general ambience and staff are so welcoming and helpful. Loved my refreshing juice!! Thanks so much for this environmental treat.More
