Cafe Laurella is no longer open. Check out The Station for an updated review of this location. The Station is well worth a visit.

Seems popular so tried the change for lunch. The Laurella was great, almost a 10, so had high expectations and took two others there. I know you shouldn't say anything unless it is good but I was so disappointed. Due to my dietary considerations I asked for poached eggs on toast but the cook? was unable to cook poached eggs... Lovely little restaurant near the shady car park at Wahroonga shops. Gourmet sandwiches, quiche, salads and specials along with freshly baked cakes and desserts. This place is great for a friendly or business lunch. Inside is nicer than out.

What a great make over! Now called 'The Station' the restaurant is still owned and run by the same great people. The menu has also undergone a make over with the quality of the food still high and the menu innovative. The Station still has the best coffee in Wahroonga!

Our meals were overly oily and stodgy. The eggs benedict muffins were soggy, poached eggs were hard and bacon was very greasy. Our corn cakes were dripping with oil and fell apart. Very disappointing for the money charged. Staff were disinterested.

Café picked by my fiancé out of the Sydney & Sydney North Entertainment Book for a 25% discount off the total value of the bill, up to $30.00 .... a late lunch. Found the café easy enough with car parking right next door. Staff very welcoming and quickly attentive despite the café being quite hectic. Quick food service and quite... More

The Station Wahroonga has really improved since its revamp. For instance their breakfast menu which now has healthy alternatives such as egg white omelet and quinoa porridge and 5 grains is very delicious, especially the chia seed breakfast trifle in coconut milk is to die for! They also have new coconut water smoothies which are very delicious! The value for... More

I am assuming this is now called The Station, Wahroonga? The address is the same. We called in because we were exploring Wahroonga (where we lived 43 years ago), we were hungry and there was parking outside. It was a Sunday morning and extremely busy. The staff were incredibly efficient, given how busy they were, and quickly found us a... More

I love going here for a good coffee and also to have breakfast meetings. The place has definitely become far more popular since the re-vamp from Cafe Laurella days....big queues for take away coffees seems to now be adversely impacting on customers dining-in, e.g. waited quite a long time to order coffee and breakfast yesterday and had to resort to...
