We celebrated two birthdays ( with two couples) in a good atmosphere. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. We were there for two hours without noticing, so were clearly enjoying ourselves at this venue. Great company in a delightful place.
We stopped here for lunch and enjoyed the food - the best was the breakfast wrap (still served at lunch - small serving but toasted and scrumptious. There is limited seating both inside and outside - so probably best to book ahead.
We are relatively frequent visitors, sometimes with our dog. We have never had anything but a great experience here. You can safely ignore the couple of negative reviews. Friendly courteous staff and some of the food is different to run of the mill available at...most venues. Lemon myrtle cheesecake is to die for and the herb and cheese scone with capsicum butter is the best savoury snack around. Well worth the short deviation off the highway.More
My husband and his friend met at Miss Nellie's today for a breakfast and catching up. They could have gone anywhere but chose to go here and support our local business. After ordering coffees and food and being in the cafe for half an hour,...the waitress came up to their table, put a RESERVED sign on it and in a rude manner said they need to leave in half an hour as this table is reserved now. We have never ever experienced this in any other cafe or restaurant in any other town or city before. Or even other country! Where do you learn to treat customers like this?? The food might be home made and nice but you still need to look after your customers. You deter local business like this. Would not recommend.More

Had you actually been in attendance at the cafe and not just writing this review on your husbands behalf, your view may be quite different after learning the facts.... I have provided them later in this response, but the important point to note...More
I love our local cafe Miss Nellies. I cannot fault anything. The homemade food is absolutely delicious, great coffee and fresh cakes, scrumptious high tea. The staff are always courteous, friendly and polite. The atmosphere is always welcoming and relaxed. I highly recommend.
Called into Miss Nellies for morning tea. There is seating inside and out and easy parking. We had tried to visit the day before but it was booked out and only takeaway was available so during holidays you may have to book ahead. I had...Devonshire tea which was enjoyable with 1 scone and plenty of cream and jam. The cafe is rustic in style and we all enjoyed the atmosphere. Would call in again if passing.More
Needed a driver break and got off the highway and stumbled on this gem. Lovely little coffee shop/cafe.
The staff were really friendly and helpful and served us with a smile. The coffee and tea were great and the lemon myrtle cheesecake was divine.
Great...find and I will be back to try more things from their menu.More
