Wouldn’t be bothered to visit this restaurant. We had a Signature Platter which did not represent the menu description, very overpriced at $46. Staff were rude and argumentative, the atmosphere average and wine does not match $. Definitely better places to visit in the Hunter....Up side Port was nice.More

We had a booking made five weeks in advance for last Friday night. At 11.30 they rang to say the chef wasn’t coming. No explanation. So we were left with no booking and everything else close by fully booked. They did say the manager would...ring us at about 4pm but she never did. Very disappointing. I will never book here again.More

Great venu for lunch and wine tasting. Catherine is a great host and meals are reasonably priced and delicious. During a local two week stay nearby we have visited a number of times and throughly recommend it to anyone that enjoys good wine and food

We went there twice to buy platters to take away, and they appeared disorganised and disinterested. Such a shame we left on both occasions without purchasing anything

On arrival we did the wine tasting as we wanted to purchase some port, the young girl was only new and was very friendly. We then went into the restaurant and ordered lunch only I other couple in the restaurant. We ordered 2 x steak...chips and salad and 1 x fish and chips. The order took 1.5 hrs to come to the table after asking what has happened to our meal. When it was delivered to the table the ladies long hair was hanging all over our food. And we received 2 x steak and vegetables... Two other people arrived after we ordered they wanted just garlic bread, they where still waiting when we left. The food was nice but the service was so slow it was frustrating and did not make a good dining experience at all.More

As we had booked ahead we had assumed our group of 10 would be seated quickly. Instead we were made to do a tasting with no food. There were vegetarians in our group but their food was served on platters with meat. We waited a...full hour for any food to be provided and as these were only tasting plates there was no reasonable excuse for the delay. The wines are nice but overall disappointing.More

Waited almost 2 hrs in an almost empty restaurant for a bosciaola pasta with chicken. There were only 3 dishes on the main menu. What we got was spaghetti in tomato paste with chicken bits for $28. Had to ask for cutlery. No serviettes or...napkins to be found. Our dining companions were mortified. They are regulars and say it's usually wonderful. Dreadful service, woeful food. In an almost empty restaurant.More
