I went to this Wetherspoon pub for Friday lunch with my daughter. She had a panini and I had a beef burger and a beer. It's not gourmet, but it's reliable food and drink at a reasonable price, as you would expect from a Wetherspoon.

I'm not generally a fan of the food at Wetherspoons (but can't fault them on the beer). However I had dinner here when stopping in Woking on business and it was good quality. Beer was good and staff friendly. Seemed like a pretty busy spot with an after work crowd about 7pm on a weekday.

Glad we had the opportunity to try to change your mind about Wetherspoons. As one of the bigger bars in Woking we do attract more customers and whilst we are busier we always try to make sure that we are friendly and prompt in our service. We thank you for acknowledging our efforts and will pass this on to the... More

Pub is ideally located and the prices are the best in the area! The place is crawling with students or older people but the prices are so good, you can't complain! £3 for a pint!

Friday teatime, busy bar, orders placed arrived pretty fast, food is what it is okay for the cost. As a large group it was hard to find a table to accommodate us but we made the most of it

Thank you for taking the time to review us. Friday evenings are generally some of the busiest times for us. We are glad to hear that the wait for food wasn't too bad. It is difficult to accommodate both large and small groups. We do have various large tables but they fill up fast. We are glad to hear that... More

Wetherspoons is very much a breed of its own which people seem to either love or hate. I believe the company is by and large honest and up front with what it offers and delivers on its promise most of the time. The only thing that lets it down is inconsistency across its estate, a common pitfall for chains of... More

Finally a bar where you are not cramped and can actually hear each other talk - refreshing to have some serious space where a large group can stand around and mingle etc. The food was great (I had a traditional english dish - chicken tikka masala(!) - which was impressive). The drinks are really well priced and the Battersea IPA... More

I have been to this pub a few times and it's been good, but today went for breakfast with my wife and was surprised to hear that they have stopped doing hot chocolate! It's on the menu, but the barman said they don't serve it any longer!! Is this a new policy Weathespoons??? Shame, your HC was good. We ended... More

I've been to this Weatherspoons a few times over the years and I always get what I expect from a Weatherspoons, ie. a good pint, a good meal and always at a really reasonable price. We had two meals and two pints totaling just over £18. They have many ales on which are kept well and are amazingly priced. The... More

Many thanks for the kind words. Value has always been at the core of what Wetherspoons offer but we feel here with our choice of ales and customer service we offer more. It is good to know that this is how it is coming across. A smiling Gary is a rarity but is appreciated more than ever. Hope to see... More
