On the way back from Zeeland to "the province" hooked up with this nice restaurant. Little in the woods of Roosendaal, very nicely located.
Already from 12 o'clock packed with a very mixed company. nicely enjoyed a bouncer carpaccio and a good glass of Chardonnay.
Without adornment just a nice restaurant, good food, fine people in the service and price-friendly and good relative to the quality .

We have been here more than ten times and it is always nice. The ambiance seems to be simole, but it does not distract you from your guests. The food is always good. The terras should also be good in the summer.

The place is nicely located and looks perfect. In the weekend make a reservation since it is fully booked often.
Typical Dutch dishes on the menu.
Ask for replenishment of the fries and potatoes immediately if you are with hungry teenagers...it can take some time :)

Lovely food and wine, relaxing indoor and outdoor setting. Nice atmosphere, tastefully furnished and decorated blending into natural environment. Service is friendly and prompt. We have been back already!

Great service, clear explanation of dishes.
Due to the small chart, difficult for children, but for couples no problem, Meat was perfactly served, fish was delicious, portions just right, nice ambiance and overall good quality.

The restaurant looks nice. The personel is friendly and helpfull. The food is excellent and made by your one request and taste. Even the size of the meals are made to your own request.

We were invited by our Dutch friends in Roosendaal to have lunch in this restaurant. The location as such is rather nice. The interieur could need a little colour, not my style of design, but tastes are different.
The menu rather small, nothing really special. The soup was nice, my "main dish" at best was average.
Service nothing special, not really friendly. I wouldn't go there again.

Large yet intimate restaurant with attached another mega terrace. Simple card but in taste perfectly fine. Service friendly, adequate and fast. Maybe even a little too soon. Yeah. Good wines on the menu. Couldn't taste them all, unfortunately.

As two young forest runners we arrived at this restaurant, which from the outside looks like the scout club building.
Inside it is very attractively decorated and spacious: you don't hear the people at the table next to you smacking or discussing their marital problems!
We were received by a friendly gentleman.
We came here for lunch and ordered the chicken satay and the vegetarian noon because it was 12 o'clock after all 😀
The satay was a decent portion that tasted good and the fries were warm and crispy. The only thing that could be improved is the satay sauce. In terms of thickness, it suggested that they had accidentally poured chocolate milk over the chicken.
The midday meal included a very tasty asparagus soup with a few swimming pieces of asparagus and an oyster mushroom ball, which was tastier than it sounds.
Furthermore, there were three thick slices of bread, each generously provided with toppings. The 'Lodge' omelette, covered with wax vegetables and mushrooms, is highly recommended.
The brie had a generous layer of balsamic vinegar and that was too much for me. It looked like a newly paved highway. Personally, I would like it better with a sweet layer such as cranberry jam or honey.
My last slice was topped with a grilled yellow pepper and muhamara. I think these were from the same brand that I have in the refrigerator at home. Tasty, but a pity that it is not freshly made!
The Rioja is very tasty and the glass is also well filled. It's nice that the wine glasses are so heavy: it's nice to drink and you train your biceps at the same time!
Lunch in the Lodge was a nice way to spend this Pentecost afternoon. If the holy spirit pours out on me, I'd rather have a plate of delicious food in front of me!

We walked the dog at the weekend and thought we would have a drink with the dog. We got in with our hiking clothes, boots and dog around 4pm. The manager immediately came to us and told us that there was no room because dinner was about to start and there were not enough staff. Dinner at 4pm?? and there were sufficient staff. Just say you don't want a dog and walkers in boots. What misplaced arrogance. Next time, dress up nicely and go to a restaurant with a Michelin Star.

As a (late) lunch stop and after some searching we were able to come here. A large place with several servers and a lot of people. The space between the tables was sufficient. At 2.30 pm we were about the only ones who still wanted lunch. Most of them were already having coffee, cake or soft drinks. But that was no problem. The waitress was very friendly and correct and immediately brought us the menu. Maritime salad with lots of smoked salmon and delicious dressing was delicious. Slice of bread with meat croquette was a bit disappointing (maybe it wasn't a Kwekkeboom), so coke and coffee for €37.25 was very reasonable.
Outside was a very large and cozy terrace that will really appeal to passers-by in the summer.
