There's nothing wrong with this eatery.
A lunchroom where stands hurry slowly (festina spring) but where you are nevertheless smoothly helped by very friendly staff.
We started with a pinot grigio and a s.b. Vermentino, both fresh and tasty.
For lunch I had a brown toasted sandwich with salmon and trout rillettes.
Tasty bread and the ingredients fresh.
My partner had goat cheese with avocado, strawberry (comote) kernels and coriander.
The avocado was too fresh (hard) but it was immediately renewed.

We enjoyed the food and drinks a lot. Bill for 6 at 163 with lunch drinks a few coffees and deserts is very reasonable. Love the inclusiveness of the restaurant and enjoyed the staff interactions. Well done all. Peter

Loads of choice from season bound dishes. Everyone can find something on the menu. Gluten free, lactose free and veggie options. Lovely decoration and don't get me started on the cakes 😍

Arrived specifically for a good chai latte(because we know, it’s very tasty over here) Yes it’s lunch time, middle of the day. But it’s not the reason saying that you must order something to eat or you re kinda not welcome to occupy the table just for a drink like coffee. WTF?! Not friendly, really. We did our best, left the table in 25 min, 10 min was waiting time to order, 10 min to get a drink, 5 min to finish the drink. Gonna think if I want to be back here. Helaas.
Chai latte was great as usual! Service :/

Again we tried to find a seat at Lente. Yes it is popular and we know that. Yes it was not during lunch time... And then they place you at a small table behind the door...
Come on, arrange for something better. Offer to us that we can come back in about xxx minutes, be friendly and accomodating...
But no, take it or leave it...

Lente is a lovely small place that offers ectremely good food. We often come here to enjoy the delicious, fresh food. Besides the normaal menu They have a chalk board which displays new choices every day. We are a big fan of the chai latte s they serve and the friendly outstanding service of Yvonne and her team!

Peculiar little restaurant with a sort of dutch-fusion cuisine.
The place I not big so it’s easily over crowded.
Better go early.
A huge blackboard offers all kinds of suggestions for your meal.

The favourite place of me and my wife to go out for lunch.
You can get almost everything for under 10 euro's, but you'll end up with a giant plate filled with delicious sandwiches.
In summer months you can also sit outside in the sun, and during the entire year you can sit inside in the homely, cosy decorated interior.
We both wholeheartedly advice this lunchroom for anyone interested in a nice lunch.

Nice cafe for lunch. Good assortment on offer. I had the humous and chargrilled veg - very tasty! My partner had the lenteburger, also nice.
The cafe can be very busy and is then a bit noisy, but on a sunny day you can sit outside and watch the world go by.

Off peak Roosendaal can seem very quiet, almost ghost town like. And then you are surprised by all of the energy emanating from Cafe Lente and you simply can't walk by upon first encountering it. It seems that everyone in Roosendaal wants to be here. The delicious food was as expected. Why else would all of these people want to be there? The staff were friendly, efficient and welcoming. The decor was a bit Modern Chic mixed in with Mother Earth. The two lunches that I had here were delicious and well priced. Although I never tried it out myself, whenever I passed by at high tea time the cafe was bursting at the seams so that too appears to be worth a try.

I celebrated my birthday here outside regular times and it was, as always with a lunch or coffee, catered for tiptop again!
Everything is negotiable and can be arranged and partly because of the hard workers my party has become unforgettable.
