We each had pre fixe lunch for 12.50 Euros. Sweet mussels and fresh, well-dressed salad for first course, a shared pan of delicious seafood paella for second. Bread, a huge cold bottle of water and desserts were included. Sangria was tasty and potent, beer cold. Our server was cheerful and super patient as we struggled with our Spanish. We figured... Yes, do listen to TripAdvisor when a little restaurant like this one makes the worst Paella i have ever ate. I am from Sant Feliu de Guíxols and i know more than a little bit about good Paellas. Even the service was bad and very slow.

The food was not bad , when we arrive the restaurant was full they had maybe 2 table available. We gave them a credit of waiting almost 30 min to get our order done , the restaurant was getting emptier and nothing was moving faster if they get one more person to work would be the best deal , they... Not recommended at all. Pesim service. I left without paying for the first course after waiting for 1h, and when I went to pay the lady left!

The mussels al vapor were among the best we have ever had and that's saying a lot. We don't generally eat bread, but we ate the whole basket to sop up the liquid. The seafood paella has a very strong taste, a bit heavy on the iodine. The view of the street and beach is charming and the service is... More

We were seriously worried, reading TA, waiting for the food. Granted, the olives were light and tasty, and the sangria crapped all over the beachfront bar from last night, but we had been waiting all of ten minutes before entree arrived. Fab salad with walnut and goat cheese. One of the best, light and not-too-salty fish soups with (count them)... More

We visited Cadaques in October and found this restaurant. We visited twice and had good meals and excellent cheerful service. Nothing was too much trouble for the friendly waitress.

The fact the restaurant was only 10% occupied at the peak of the August holiday season should have given us a clue. We were given a table for five (2 adults and 3 children) and waited. And waited. And waited. Eventually we were given the menus and chose two fixed price meals for the adult and three dishes for the... More

Five of us went for a midweek lunch we arrived at about 1.15pm the restaurant was not busy at that time. We chose a seat in the upstairs part of the restaurant as we could see the sea from the table . But things did not go well., we were not given the complimentary olives that others seemed to get... We visited this restaurant on 22nd October and had a lovely meal. We opted for the set menu at 12.50 euros for 3 courses, which was excellent value - half the price of some of the other restaurants we looked at. I had the tomato bread and ham followed by a lovely fish (I didn't catch the name) and my... More
