Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

TOP aperitif! We found it by chance while sifting through the reviews and advice of other travellers... and we pleasantly discovered this traditional little place run by young, friendly and kind people. The products are local and cm zero (the olives were from the neighbor, and were super, served with toasted almonds and rosemary), as is the giardiniera with toasted bread. We divided the platter of cold cuts and cheese, with a sweet salami inside, a more particular and spicy salami, a cheese and finally the sobresada: guys, served with dried figs and honey, it's something stratospheric! I swear I still think about it and my mouth is watering. Gin and tonic with local gin and tonic, lighter than our Milanese regulars, but I was happy with it because I don't particularly like gin.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT, I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT!!!

A gem in the gem, perfect little place in a country that is a gem.
The restaurant is quaint, it seems to enter a house and outside there are a courtyard and a terrace very nice and really nice.
The waiters, all young boys, are very resourceful and kind.
We ate the characteristic Pa Amb Oil in four different varieties: a great product, carefully prepared, with ingredients of undoubted quality and in decidedly generous quantities. Also excellent aperitif (spiced almonds, one leads to another!) and desserts. Really everything impeccable, super recommended!

We wanted to try some pamboli and thought that we should do this in a traditional restaurant. We didn't regret our choice. The ambience in this old building was very nice, the service fast and friendly. The pamboli were super delicious, although the price of 30 € for 4 loaves for 2 people is very expensive.

I write this review to prevent other customers from wearing a vest as it was in our case. For starters, the place is not even a restaurant, that is, they do not have a kitchen and do not make any dishes, they only offer in their "carte" a ridiculous starters and main course a toast table with sausages, however, they have vegetarian version. The bill, if it is a restaurant, 55€ for some olives and almonds (in many restaurants this is free, as a courtesy) 4 toast with cold cuts and cheese and a dessert to share, ah, coffee do not make either. And in the height of ridicule, when we entered they told us that we had an hour and a quarter to eat, we had more than half an hour left over and the tables, next door, empty...

Unique culinary experience, Pa Amb best oils from Mallorca, local and quality products, when you eat them it is an explosion of incredible taste. Truly spectacular. The craft beer is also excellent. Staff speaks Italian, very courteous and kind, we arrived without a reservation and they made us sit anyway, waiting only 10 minutes. I hope to return there soon.

The place is nice, the decoration rather rustic chic. We feel good there. We pass on the reception which was a little hasty, we were early, it is true by a good 1/4 hour. We were told a little curtly that we would have to wait. Well... It's the holidays, all that's not very serious.
For lunch, the offer is correct, revisited tapas on bread, nothing crazy but it's well done. The choice, however, is very limited and in the end the value for money is a little worse, if we keep in mind that we mainly eat bread. At the end of the meal, when taking stock of the moment spent, we still say to ourselves that this restaurant/bistro is ultimately quite pretentious.

Warm welcome, delicious traditional sandwiches (plus the waiter explains to us in French what he serves and in what order to eat it. Traditional in the middle of the touristy, what a joy!
Very small restaurant, it is better to reserve

Excellent experience. Known through living in Mallorca, we went to Valldemossa specifically and we were certainly impressed by the good food and the tradition they seek but above all by their kindness and the place which is truly a gem. Highly recommended. Italian owners therefore even better.

We have been coming to this wonderful little restaurant for many years. The food is simple, based on slices of excellent local bread with toppings of local Mallorca produce. The servings are generous and service excellent with the staff explaining in detail the toppings, some of which are warm and others cold.
We intend coming back every time we visit the are.

The restaurant owners bought a house that may have stayed in one family for centuries. They took great pains to preserve the feel of the historic home, even decorating with photos fo the family and machinery from their history. The upstairs terrace has a lovely view of the mountain town at sunset. The pinchos and tapas come to you on specially made crusty bread and each tapas looks like a work of art. My favorite was the zucchini—so delicious; but the meat based tapas tasted great too. The cheese appetizer was outstanding too. The local house red wine made a great accompaniment. The wine was very reasonably priced, but—as others have note—prices for the tapas seemed high. Nonetheless, I would definitely return—so delicious and a fine experience too.

Typical restaurant, little choice but quality products. Very good bruschetta, do not underestimate the vegetarian option.
Very kind staff.
Reservation Recommendation via site, you have an hour and a half to consume dinner.

We ended up here because of the many great reviews and what can I say - it was 100% worth it. From the outside you almost miss this beautiful restaurant and in the "backyard" there is a really beautiful outdoor area where you can comfortably enjoy the delicious food under awnings. It is worth trying the traditional Mallorcan bread here, which is served with different toppings. Delicious 🤤🤤🤤 with olives and a cold drink... what more could you want - simple local food - simply brilliant! And the service is great too! Everyone is really nice and friendly. You can also buy a few souvenirs to take home here.
We would love to come back 🫶

I recently visited a tapas bar expecting authentic tapas but was very disappointed. What I received was more like a butterbrot, not tapas. The flavors and presentation were not what I anticipated, lacking the traditional touch. The service was also subpar, with long waits and inattentive staff. Overall, it did not meet my expectations for a genuine tapas experience.

Nicely decorated restaurant in a typical setting. Reception not very pleasant, having made our reservation in advance we were asked to wait while 3 tables were empty and would remain empty until we were seated. Tapas on bread, correct but without a little extra taste. Good choice of wine. Ultimately a place that wants to be trendy but remains a tapas restaurant with a limited choice. Why not!

A place with attention to detail, with a strong identity that reflects the style and colors of the country in which it is located. From the scent of the rooms, to the kindness of the staff: everything is extremely well looked after, nothing is left to chance.
The pa amb oli (we tried the "traditional") is extraordinarily good, the quality and freshness of the ingredients that were used in its creation clearly emerges.
The almond granita is very good, different from the Sicilian one (even if it is a bit reminiscent of the Messina one), but no less interesting.
The creme caramel is excellent and the craft beer is really not bad.
For me and my partner it was a real experience; I'm not exaggerating if I say that a trip to Valldemossa is worth it.
We hope to return soon!
