The menu is great, but we asked for recommendations from our waiter and he gave us some suggestions of regional favorites. Try the grilled sardines - I've never had them before, so this was a gastronomic experience for me. The wait staff is so very helpful.

Four of us went for a quick lunch today. Not busy when we arrived. Took 20 minutes to place order, then long time for drinks to arrive, then waiter had to confirm what food we ordered then further 50 mins later we got our one course, after chasing several times. Many people were served , start to finish, while we... More

I had one of set menus, for €18 I had more food and alcohol that I could handle. Plus excellent service. It's next to the road but has good view of Porto. I'd recommend it.

Good food. We ordered a little bit of everything and everything was great. The only thing was we waited about half an hour for a single desert after the mains. Apart from that all food. Friendly staff.

Small, but very inexpensive and a great value. The francesinha sandwich is not only a great value, it's really delicious - something to try if you've never had one before. I ordered it because I always order what I've never seen before - you won't be disappointed.

Had a nice 3-course evening meal + drinks & coffee, all for 14€! Nice friendly staff, pavement terrace with nice view of the river & the Cais de Ribeira across. Only drawback is traffic driving past but no big deal. So much better value for money than all the eating places across the river.

We had lunch at this restaurant last week and chose the tourist menu meal. This consisted of a starter, main course, sweet and a bottle of wine. Everything was very tasty and all for 14 euros. The staff were friendly, efficient and all spoke good English. There was a guy playing his guitar on the pavement outside which made for a... More
