Quiet experience in this restaurant that seems less touristic than the average on the cais de gaia. Pasta were good, salad a bit disappointing. Kind service.

The food was fantastic, so good we went back a second night during our time in Porto. All four of us enjoyed our meals both evenings. Located near the river, so makes for a nice evening.

We were looking for some light lunch with a bottle of good wine, but Resturant refused to serve us unless we have a main course despite many free tables.

Felt like pasta. Had a wonderful lunch of a shared caprese salad. We each had a pasta dish with prawns and crawfish. All three were delicious. Attentive service with some oversight by the chef. We enjoyed it so much we made a reservation for three...nights later. Another review to comeMore

Food is delicious, service the best, music is perfect. The staf is working hard to give you a great night.

We were looking for a non fancy place to eat in the center of Porto. We stumbled upon this tiny pizzeria restaurant and thought we would have pizza. However the menu was so varied that my husband had the linguini with seafood and I had...the eggplant parmigiana (Melanzana Parmigiana). Our food was really really good and the service was great too. Everything was fresh (unlike other touristy places close by) and coming hot from the oven and the servers were fast and very friendly. Everything was perfect. We will come back to eat here again.More

We wanted Italian dinner, so while we walk through Gaia we decided to enter and Enjoy the dinner. The best part of this restaurant was the view from the third floor. Espectacular! The rest was disaster. Waitress was ok but he missed some details. We...ordered focaccia, pizza and tortellini with spinach and ricotta. Focaccia wasnt focaccia at all!!! It was PIZZA!! Unfortunately, I didnt take pictures but if u imagine pizza 4formaggi- that’s exactly focaccia What they serve. Pizza was very dryc no dough at all. Tortellini were overcooked and served with mushrooms (have no idea why)..at least we had a good red wine and that was all. The restaurant should hire real Italian chef who knows how to cook properly.More

We are sad to read that our menu did not please you. We hope you will visit us again soon!
If you want a break from traditional Portuguese food in a beautiful setting, S. Martino offers a solid Italian option overlooking the Douro. While pretty standard fare, it’s hard to go wrong with a fresh caprese salad, a good amatriciana pasta and decent pizza while...taking in the view. Service was a bit choppy, and you pay a premium for the setting, but it is well worth it. Call ahead to reserve a table on the third floor facing the river to lock in an amazing view.More

Pizza isn’t great but isn’t bad either. Service and the view are excellent. There are much worse ways to spend an evening.

The Manager was so nice that he brought us to 2nd level for a better view when we asked to be sat outdoor. The pasta was good and Tiramisu was our choice to end the night. Thank you so much. By far the service was...excellent.More
