We were in Luso for a short break and this restaurant/taperia, located 2 minutes walk from Grande Hotel Luso seemed the perfect place for a light meal. It was. I had a "prego em bolo de caco" which was just perfect! The meat was tender...and juicy with fries on the side. Teas' menu is impressive. We had a "calor"(warmth) Tea because it was cold outside. It is located in an ancient building with high ceilings and retro decoration. The only issue with the menu options is that there are few options if you are allergic to gluten. If that is the case, ask for the "prego em prato" with fries and salad.More

Fantastic food. We ordered so much: cod sandwich, tuna salad, mystery vegetarian balls, olives, and leek with potato. Our fav dish was the glazed goats cheese with rocket and honey. Ice cream was a bit disappointing - my friend ordered egg yolk which didn’t taste...of anything. But the chocolate flavour was good. Service was friendly but a bit slow, but it was a busy evening and there seems to be a slower pace here in Portugal than in London where I’m from. Overall wonderful food, I’d go back again.More
