this was one of the best meals I've had in years. it is located in an old church and the interior is beautiful. food was excellent and the wait staff couldn't have been any nicer.

Loved it! My daughter and me went there after the opera. Lovely restore building. The staff was friendly and professional. That was and an added bonus, the food was wonderful

This is a very nice restaurant without the ostentatious feel. Historic church converted to restaurant, it's a look back at the past with a local vibe.

Went first during restaurant week and fall in love. The have great food Not just basic traditional dinners. The architecture inside is inspiring. Not an item on the menu I wouldn't eat. Best place in downtown Norfolk.

We at Freemason Abbey always recommend reservations, just to be on the safe side! And we are about a 7-10 minute drive from Douglas Wilder Performing Arts center

Located in a 140 year-old renovated church, Freemason Abbey Restaurant has been a local's favorite in the heart of downtown Norfolk for 23 years. Freemason Abbey is closed New Years Day, 4th of July, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
