I have been coming here since it opened. I visit as an individual and as part of a non profit group. This trip I had an amazing salad with grilled chicken. The chicken was tasty, moist, and the salad was fresh. The group started with six people at one table, and with wait staff help it grew to over 20... More

Had dinner here with a friend and was very pleased with the place. He had the fajitas and I had the brochettes (shrimp/chicken) and they were both quite good. The server kept bringing us warm chips and we ordered some fresh guacamole to go with the salsa and it was delicious! Service couldn't have been better and the prices were... More

Went with a friend before the movie and was very pleasantly surprised. Warm chips, homemade salsa (though we could have used more of it), and the chimichangas were WONDERFUL. I have been to Jose Tequila, El Azteca, and El Rey (which is horrible) and Guads on Grandby is the best I've had so far.

We tried this place last month food was good service o.k. but we didn't think the servings where as big as some of the other places in town and the prices where a bit higher also but it was a change from the others.

WOW the service was awesome........Friendly and fast. Went with large group and the service was fast but wow the food was soooo bad. NO FLAVOR. They serve chips with salsa and this white stuff that looks like ranch. It takes like spoiled ranch dressing. Horrible. Will never go back.

For the boss’ birthday, a total of five of small team went out for lunch. We had planned on another place in the area but it was packed. I was new to this area of the city and knew of nothing to suggest. One had noticed Guad’s when we pasted it a few minutes early and suggested to try it.... More

We are always here and have been since it opened. We had to talk friends into coming to a place that looked a bit "sketchy" from the outside (their words). They now live there too. ;) The food is simple but always tasty. Chimichangas (extra queso), the mushroom quesadilla (melts in your mouth), fajitas (mixed meat) and burritos (CA) are... More

I thought I would try this place out since it was close to work and I love good fresh Mexican food. We had Fajitas (chicken) and they were great. Fresh made salsa was very good. All was freshly prepared and served quiite fast. My favorite new Mexican in Norfolk.
