We arrived around 12.50pm and most tables were full. We waited a long while to be served and some red wine for another table arrived during our wait. When finally offered a menu there was another long wait for drinks. When our food finally arrived...it was average.Desserts were okay. Will try again on a weekday 🍴👍😊🇵🇹More

Took my grandson who is 10 and very fussy with his food. He said it was the best chicken he had ever had, clearing his plate. My sardines were amazing, great value money-wise too. Not sure I think it is only open for lunch???

If only I could eat fish like this every day. We feasted on bbq sardines, sea bass and pork chops. A simple salad, a jug of chiiled red wine-what more could you want? Absolutely rammed which is testament to what is going on here. Food...at its simplest but tastiest. Cant wait to come back and part with another 37 euros for the best bbq you will get anywhereMore

They are only open during lunch time, reach there early and get a seat if you have not researved a table. It is packed full by 1pm in the afternoon, grilled fish is their speciality, but they make most traditional meat dishes all Portugeses style....It is a place where locals eat and very seldom you see tourist here, they serve very good house white wine 5.90/ litre same apply to the Vino Tinto (red), 3 people can eat here with starter and main course for under 50 Euro including wine, again no vegetarian choice except soup and salad. I have gone there many times the service is slow due to the number of people eating there at lunch time, It is closed in the evening restaurant is closed by 4pm. A must visit and eat place.More

I read the reviews like every1 b4 i went here, but what i realised was; - there was more locals and only few waiters speak proper english. -Also it closes early like 4pm everyday and gets super busy during the day. It was hot day...today, all chef were constantly cooking on that heat, and all waiters running around so it does feel like you are neglected but i guess its everywhere where u get good food. So i recommend you got to go early, as loads of food run out too. And if possible it helps if you speak little Portuguese too. But other than that food and vibe is very local and excellent. Price is another big yes as i found most foods were cheaper compared to most places. Thanks Marum and all staff for your hard work in this heat.More

The waiters were rude we asked for sardines for 3 persons and we got 6 sardines each for the first 2 and then the third only got 4 sardines. Then we asked for Picanha and we got some meat but it wasn’t definitely Picanha.

It serves simple food. Good food but they think 2 hours for chicken and chips to be served is normal!

The grilled fish special of the day was sold out when we arrived, so we went a bit more upmarket. The fish itself was very well grilled, but the accompanying potatoes and salad were ordinary at best. We were gamed into buying more wine than...we had ordered.More
