Visited here a few times throughout my stay in Quarteira. Everything is delicious and also quite cheap! They sell the best Pastel de nata, I even bought a box of them to give to my wedding guests.

Positioned right on the seafront near the fish market, several outside tables which are thoroughly cleaned, after every use. Ticket service on entry and worth any waiting time. Delicious cakes every time. Coffee and tea good. Friendly staff and very good value Excelente café, obrigado

We came to Quarteira in December 2019 for some winter sun, liked it so much we came back again in February 2020. Both times we visited this super cafe, the cakes are to die for. The fact that you take a ticket to queue really...speaks volumes. Lots of locals go there for lunch, it has a great atmosphere. We tried various cakes & pastries, they are all delicious. The red velvet cake & pasta de nata make my mouth water just thinking about them! Oh and the hot chocolate is pretty good too. All at a very reasonable price. We will be back later in the year for more winter sun & another visit to this great establishment.More

Stopped at Pastelaria Beira Mar for coffee, tosta mista and a strawberry cake. All of which were excellent. The café was busy, but the selection of cakes was impressive. Prices were acceptable too.

I am indeed confused why this has so many great reviews. Probably the most expensive local pastry shop I have ever visited in Portugal. The cakes are so sugary and tasteless that only a 5 year old kid with bad taste buds will propably like...it. After all sugar is sugar. The cold snacks are also a bit tasteless and the only taste you feel is of the excess of flour and spices that ruin the over-all flavor of them. For 2 cakes, 3 small cold snacks, 2 drinks, coffee and some miniature cakes I spent more than 30 euros. This is double of the usual pay.More

Oh my goodness these were some of the best cakes and pastries I have ever tasted . I have to say I tried lots of different ones over my 9 day stay In Quarteira both takeaway and also sat down with one of their excellent...coffees . My personal favourites were the apple muffins and the Portuguese tarts ( little pastry tartlets filled with baked custard ) . Everything was baked fresh every day and just how busy the place was speaks volumes as to its popularity both with tourists and locals . Yum scrum !More

We have visited this bakery a few times on our trip. It is the best! There are so many freshly baked sweet treats to choose from. We had the pastel de nata with coffee. Was so tasty! It seems like a very popular place with...the locals too which is always a good sign! A must visit when in the area!More

Feeling a little snack time coming on came across this little café down near the beach front. YES spoilt for choice cake throwing itself at you. Resisting went for a ham and cheese toastie recommended by a staff member, oh what a taste so good...that I had one everyday. Followed by a different cake, I know it's bad but a holiday is for spoils.More
