What a fabulous restaurant this is - excellent tasty locally sourced reasonably priced dishes, some lovely local wine all with great attentive service - would thoroughly recommend. Situated next to the local church near the Castillo it’s also in a great setting!

extremely rude employee. waiter offends customers. I don't know if they earn badly and are unhappy with their work, but a tourist place needs to be more educated.

As a local Italian I can say simple but great food at this restaurant. Sea food was fresh and dishes we ordered were perfectly prepared according to local tradition. Spaghetti aglio, olio e peperoncino were perfect - and I am very picky. Well done!

Great food and ambiance in the ponte area of Ischia. I liked the octopus salad most, the shrimp spaghetti looked very good too

This place has an amazing heart. From the big welcome from Marco the owner, to the warm, witty, smiling staff. Being a solo diner my order was portioned down so I would not overeat. I was eating fish and ordered a glass of red wine....It came chilled without me even asking. It was like mind-reading, they have understood what I needed and what would make me happy. Accidentally I got two bread bowls...I joked that I didn’t have enough bread...well, they carried on with the joke and got me more bread. The evening carried on in the same vein...The food was quality. The tomato sauce on my pizza was to die for. Beautiful fresh seafood too. Service always swift but warm. I love this place and can’t wait to come back.More

Every time we passed this restaurant there were people queuing to get a table so we decided to book ahead for a Saturday night. Have to say, we were not disappointed as the food we had was delicious and quite reasonably priced. Also, the wine...was not too expensive. We shared the zucchini flowers for starter which were really lovely. I then had the gnocchi and my husband had the Neapolitan pizza. Definitely worth a visit but I recommend booking ahead.More

After a full day of trekking around the island we decided to sample the local pizza, and Ristorante Pizzeria Aglio Olio e Pomodoro did not disappoint. The pizzas and calzones are traditional Neapolitan, huge and absolutely delicious. A table next to us got some mussels...as an appetizer, and we marveled the size of the mussels and the buttery/garlicky aroma that blanketed the outdoor seating area. This is a back street spot that is not be missed.More

Great Place, down to earth, with great Service Staff with humor. Great food, not overpriced, we felt very welcome. Thank you for a memorable night.

We had both lunch and dinner at this restaurant. The pizza, pasta, fish and antipasti were magnificent. Service was terrific even on a busy night. We have eaten here in 2017 and 2019 while staying in Ischia Ponte. In June 2019 we were with our...friends David & Chris Krem. We highly recommend it. We look forward to our next visit to Ischia Ponte and great meals at Alio, olio, e pomodoro! Jeff & Claudia Sparagana Reading, PA. USAMore

Slow service we had to wait and wait and they were almost irritated when we wanted to order a limoncello after our lunch. I ordered a pesto pasta that was really slimy and had a bad taste. The wine was expensive for being in Ischia....It was also very expensive for the quality. I don’t recommend this.More

It's in a walking distance, but actually it is in Ischia Ponte, close to Castello Aragonese.
