Family- run restaurant which makes slow food a serious business. We had a superb Coniglio all'Ischitana (rabbit cooked in the traditional way) after fantastic amuse-bouche cooked to perfection. Only regret was that we cannot eat too much because we wanted to try everything. An absolute must visit

This restaurant was recommended to us by a friend in Milan however upon arrival we realised it had been featured on a travel tv programme we had seen featuring their house speciality, the rabbit. It is way up high in the mountains and the drive was an adventure in itself. The seating was all outside and even though we were... More

My friends are regulars on Ischia yet had not discovered this gem of a restaurant . Tv presenter Alex had visited Ischia and had recommended this restaurant so we had to try it. What an absolute gem from the welcome of Riccardo the patron to the rest of his family and staff - The visit to the wine cellar, we... More

It was the last night of our holiday and we turned up on their door without a reservation (on a Saturday night!) but were sensible enough to get their early at least. The manager was wonderful and made a table for us in a corner as all the other huge tables were reserved. What a stroke of luck as we... More

The perfect place to celebrate a birthday. The family who owns the restaurant are passionate, lovely people. Don't bother looking at the menu - just get their recommendations on what to eat! The food is very tasty, and the servings are very generous so come with an empty stomach! Best place to have rabbit on the island :)

A fabulous meal in beautiful surroundings the restaurant is situated at the top of a hill and you have a great panorama of the sunset over the bay. We called and booked a table and ordered the rabbit the night before (both of which I recommend as the restaurant really fills up around 9pm). When we arrived we were made... More

This place was great. We pre ordered the slow cooked rabbit (highly recommend this, must be done 24hrs in advance though). We had some excellent canape type starters, delicious aubergine gnocchi and the rabbit. All the food was excellent, as was the wine. Cost us €100 including the wine (2 of us). The view is incredible, but it is a... More

Go hungry. Very hungry. You'll be licky to get past the antipasti, but do try. Quality outstanding, local produce. The family make their own liqueur from foraged ingredients, the rabbit stew is unbelievable, the views are wonderful. So worth the taxi there and back. Do this.

Agostino, thank you for everything!!! You are the best. The food was incredibly good. The restaurant has some delightful history and Ischia is "good for life"...
