We stopped in here after a couple of hours of hiking to grab a little lunch. The service nice and the pizza had a delicious crust. It was a nice rest stop between hikes.

Ristorante San Giovanni is located a little off the beaten path and away from the tourist crowds of the Amalfi Coast. It is a family run restaurant with great views. The service was great and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. All of the food that we tried was exceptional and everything was reasonably priced.

Ristorante San Giovanni is just outside of Ravello and is a great place to stop for lunch along the Amalfi coast. From the outdoor terrace one has a terrific view of the seaside. We had Calamarata Pomodorini con Melanzane and Spaghetti ai Frutti di Mare accompanied by foccacia. The house wine was very nice, as was the service.

This is 2 restaurants across the street from each other, the more smaller one has the toilets in. The large one has views out towards the hills and coast depending on where you sit. We were charged a cover charge of 3 euros which was displayed on the menu, and there was no bread, which you normally get with a... More

This family run restaurant felt so welcoming and friendly. The view was amazing as we were so high up. The house red wine was nice and the food came fairly quick. The food tasted amazing! That was the tastiest mozzarella I have ever had on a Pizza.

Small, quaint, restaurant overlooking the village. Many locals were having their Sunday afternoon dinner. We were a party of six and had very good service. My wife had the Margarita pizza and I had the Linguine Vongole. Both dishes were excellent. Everything made to order and very fresh. The local wine, Aglianico, was very smooth and complemented the food nicely.

We stopped here for lunch and had one of the best Pizzas of our stay in Italy. Maybe it was the spectacular view, maybe the friendly staff, or maybe the delightful smells, but the Pizza was great. Hard to find but worth the try.

We always make a beeline for this restaurant on returning to the Amalfi coast, and it never disappoints. The view is just stunning - try to get a table immediately overlooking it (you may need to get in relatively early on a Sunday). It's also a welcome stop when walking down from Scala or across from Ravello. Or even up... More

We have visited this restaurant on many occassions and never been disappointed. We have just returned from two weeks staying in the Grand Hotel Excelsior above Amalfi and had 2 lunches in san Giovanni's. The Antipasta della casa is a wonderful mixture of different flavours with; meats, cheeses, roasted vegetables and croqueted potatoes. Peppered mussels with salad fantasia very very... More
