We challenged the cook to prepare us a surprise dinner - a surprise it was indeed. Very good food, very friendly and hospitable host! Fam. Boele, Bennekom, The Netherlands

Stayed here for 2 nights and although it was quite a drive from Maiori through the busy traffic of Amalfi and the coastal road, definately worth it. Although nobody at La Baita seemed to speak English very well, we felt welcome (it also helped I speak some words of Italian). Some highlights: - Stunning view from our large balcony. -... More

Excellent place. The hosts were great and very kind. The place is amazing and very quiet with really nice views. Rooms are big. They offer dinner at a reasonable price for the quality the provide - everything home grown and made. Definitely a place to consider when staying around the coast and wanting to avoid the crowds in Amalfi and... More

This place was wonderful. Our hosts provided excellent food, we really loved the fried zucchini flowers with ricotta cheese. Breakfast was outside and included delicious cappuccino, bread, tomatoes, cheese, and other yummy food. We stayed 3 nights and would go back.

Homemade locally-sourced food! High quality and great variety. If you are looking for vegetarian and seafood you may have trouble as this is not their focus.

We were planning to stop here on the way back from a trip further down the Amalfi Coast, but on the way, a cloud descended and we were surrounded by thick fog. Thanks to our satnav, we managed to find our way, and I think it was definitely worth persevering. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the decor wouldn't... More

Very difficult to get to but the views of the Amalfi Coast are outstanding. Arrived on a Sunday and the restaurant was crowded with customers. Coould not get into our room until 4:30. They grill beef, pork, chicken, and antelope. The rooms are small but comfortable and clean. You really need a car to get around because it is far... More
