Avoid this Greek version of Fawlty Towers, if you want good food. Two years after having had an average meal there, I decided to give it a second chance. Bad mistake. I ordered white wine with the meal. After an effort, the waitress uncorked the bottle and out came red liquid. I sent it back. A second waitress brought the... More

Traditional food and location which we found tucked away. Then discovered it was recommended in guide books. Lucky find that brought back memories for Greek family of old style tavernas. 84 to 16 year olds in agreement that food was great. Back again tonight if we can remember which path to take!

This place is a hidden gem. It is a beautiful setting under the vines and trees. Service is attentive and very helpful and nice. The food oh my god.... We had the mix starter platter for 2 and i think it is the best anti pasti platter i ever had. Especially the croquettes were divine. We couldn't have much after... More

This place has a very nice and romantic setting. It is the last restaurant in the complex and it is very hard to find. It wasn't as busy as the other places when we arrived which allowed us to have a chat with the waiters. After we finished out meal we were even more surprised this place wasn't that busy.... More

Great food, friendly service, cheap prices, big quantities and best food in Greece yet. We tried the meat platter , the Naxos salad, the saganaki and the local potatoes with rice and peas. All food came fresh from the island of Naxos - locally sourced which we loved. Our bill was 42 euro with a bottle of wine and 3... More

Excellent service and food. We had chicken a la crem and a great dessert that lived up to the standards. Manolis offered us also free homemade raki. Overall a nice hidden gem from the mainstream restaurants. Will definitely return.

This place is out of the main stream. Its hidden in the narrow streets of the old market I didn't have traditionally Greek food for ages The way it originally was. MANOLIS offers this in times where real greek food is hard to find. Definitely worth a visit. I had the brim and my partner had the beef casserole. Both... More

The food was good, honest and plentiful; the setting delightful; the staff charming, and the prices very reasonable. What more could you wish for?

By far the best dish on the menu is the homemade moussaka. This place has a great traditional feel to it. Lovely garden, hospitable staff and tucked away in a nice and quiet part of the old town. Not the easiest place to find but look hard enough and I assure you it'll be well worth your time. The staff... More
