Hadn't been to a Schlotzsky's in years. It was better than we remembered! This location is right in the heart of all sorts of shops so it was perfect for our trip.

I was pleasantly surprised that my pastrami sandwich exceeded expectations. Schlotzsky's provided a very good portion of lean pastrami and the right amount of mustard, all on fresh dark rye bread. Service and cleanliness were above average. Good place to go for a sandwich!

Schlotzsky's has unique sandwiches on their own baked breads. I always get the fiesta chicken sandwich with the jalapeno bread. It is so good. They also have an assortment of bottled beer. The small covered outdoor patio is nice on a warm spring day.

Having eaten in several Schlotzsky's in various citys, the Newport News location is among the best. The staff is friendly & helpful, the restaurant is clean and the food is ready quickly. The menu is similar to other locations. The soups seem better than other locations and the number of choices is larger. Salads are fresh.

A dirty rundown store should have been a clue to turn around and leave, but we stopped bc a fussy child needed a break from the car seat. Staff was rude to the point of almost refusing a second cup for the second value meal ordered, stating my husband had taken it to the table already (when he hadn't ).... More

Clean restaurant. Colorful food. Fast turn around for lunch if you're in a hurry. Soups, salads, sandwiches, beverage bar.

The food was great and the staff was really helpful and friendly BUT you pay more for less, not good. Wouldn't think twice in returning if you got more for what you pay.

For a chain this place is pretty good. It's expensive for a chain but the food is always constant. Good service and consistently good food

There is a nice variety of sandwiches, but they don't taste as good as they look. There are a couple pots of soup where you serve yourself. The tops to the pots fell off and I couldn't figure out how to make them stay on. This led to disarray at the soup serving area. The service was fast and there... More
