I sat down. They were 1/3 full. I waited 10mins before the waiter acknowledged me. All he then said was solo?' And left. He came back some time later, dumped the menu, no smile, no 'sorry for the wait', no 'bonjour'. I left. I have lived in Paris for a year, but would struggle to think of such a rude... More

Busy restaurant with lots of tourists and holiday makers. However, the food was good and very enjoyable. The service was friendly and prompt. Mussels were good. Salmon was better!

We were invited to lunch here by our good French friends who eat here regularly. We were introduced to the owners who were warm and friendly. It is a beautiful spot, overlooking the harbour, and abundant with the good vibes of the town. Being there in September probably helped - less busy than the craziness of the summer where the... Enjoyed a lovely lunch in the sunshine with family. The food was tasty and although on the pricey side, the portions are ample! The only reason I am not rating this restaurant as excellent is due to the service, which unfortunately was not that friendly. Despite this, we enjoyed a fab lunch by the harbour!

Very tasty crab salad, served quickly with a plate of very moreish sardines. Reasonably priced wines ( for Ile de Re) . Great location right beside harbour full of mostly working boats.

Lets be clear, the food we ordered (2 x pizzas) was reasonable, and the service was acceptable but you really had to "make yourself known" to be served as the staff were (literally) rushed off their feet trying to keep up with the number of tourists sititng down, ordering and leaving etc. I'd return if it was quieter but not... To be able to accommodate 17 of us without any fuss or bother was fantastic. The food for the kids came quickly and was devoured and ours came soon after and was spot on. Salads were big and well packed and specials inc Foie gras and scallops perfect. All washed down with cold rose and finished with a reasonable bill... More

Quite a wide menu, lots of choice. Pizza was OK as was fish. Location and view back over St. Martin is lovely. It does get very busy and tables are very close together so don't go if claustrophobic!

Eight of us booked and only saw the TA reviews at the last minute. We decided to chance it - big mistake. Evening started well with a friendly waitress taking our orders. Starters came promptly and were good, if a little pricy, although that's what you get if you eat right by the harbour in Saint Martin. Then it all... More
